nah, non white people were mostly not allowed to serve in the military in WW1 and (to a lesser extent) in WW2
there were some ethnic soldiers in french and british service but didnt really do anything but guard duties in the colonies

It's an opinion piece, try not to put too much stock into some nobody's blog piece. Canadian history isn't really white washed we just never had a significant population of non white people who contributed to it and even when they did no one cares because it's Canadian history and similar stories get over shadowed by the American equivalents. Everyone probably knows of Rosa Parks but even Canadians probably only heard of Viola Davis when she was put on the new bill.

That's not true at all. Millions served in both wars as colonial troops were largely expendable. Frogs literally built a giant mosque in the middle of Paris afterwards.
