Well, you take pride of what you create.
Some people hate their wagie life, other hates their NEET life, but some people learn to love some things, so they get pride on that.
Yeah, it is better to create your own company, but some people do not want to take that risk, so wagecucking is often the best option for them, and they can earn good enough if they are wise and find a company that suits them the best.
Not all is black or white. A job is not only good or only bad, there are many grays.

Unemployment numbers are way higher than they are reported. The government does some major statistical gymnastics to hide the fact that the black unemployment rate (non students ages 18-60)is supposedly over 50% and the white rate is over 30%. Can you image the civil war if 30% of the country actually realized they pay for the other 70%?
