>thursday is a day off
>still have to come to the office because my boss is a lazy fuck
My hair just melted, is that normal?
I'll just fuck off right after noon tbqh. My office is way too hot, 33°C inside today without a fan or anything. I don't want to die at work.
What kind of an office doesn't have climate control? Surely there must be some kind of regulation against having to work in a sauna?
Imagine the poor bastards who have high humidity as well...
It's a lab. France actually doesn't have any law regarding heat and working conditions. Only a vague right to fuck off in case of immediate danger.
don't go outside unless it's necessary
I was in Paris for the earlier heatwave this month, going outside was pure death, and I fainted on the Metro lel
pls send some fresh air
It's nice weather in Liverpool now, i'll go for a walk along the sea tomorrow.
Just waiting for that retarded french user to chime in and say to just open a window
>France actually doesn't have any law regarding heat and working conditions
That's impressive considering the absolute unit that is french labor law.
>day off
>arranged overtime
>check the weather
>33c and humid because of thunderstorms last night
I didn't think I'd ever be jealous of the English weather
>P*risians get roasted
>i'm nice and comfy on the mediterranean
I'm ok with this
At least it cools off at night
I know it's not much for someone living in Central Europe, but for us here in the "frozen" north, it is a living hell.
It's quite weird. Two weeks ago temperatures hovered around 10-15 °C daily, with only some days barely reaching 20, then quickly dropping again. The weather here has been unusually cold for July, but when compared to last year, it has been heavenly. Until now.
We reached 35C inside yesterday.
Our workshop can't have windows open due to thiefs and no AC. Except the hot part of the AC mounted in the workshop.
>23 degrees and cloudy
Fuck bros my skin is burning
Feel sorry for you tbqh
Can't you at least use a fan?
I NEED to go to Ireland
>28°c is too spicy
lmao
I hate you
You would literally die in the Mediterranean. I used to have a Swedish professor, he was becoming more red than an English tourist at the end of spring.
God i wish that were me
Everything's relative.
I know. The highest outside temperature I've ever experienced was around 34-35 degrees and I remember thinking "this is it, this is how I die". But somehow I survived it.
No.
Luckily tomorrow is my last day before a week long holiday.
Moi, je reste à Poil.
french countryside looks comfy af
>boil in poil
Just remember, climate change isn't real.
Baltic area looks nice. Stay cool we just got over a similar heatwave here.
I fucking hate heatwaves. Experienced one two summers ago with temps reaching 109ºF (42ºF) just when my AC broke down.
I am about to end it all
it's +35C in my apartment and I have all windows and fans on
be happy you don't live here since nobody uses AC systems in their homes so heatwaves like these are absolute hell
Keep drinking water and put cool towels over yourself.
Yeah I experienced one without AC and never again. I would shell out the cash for a hotel with AC just to be able to survive if my AC ever broke again.
I'm starting to believe those weather machines exist. Just look at the map moscow has perfect weather and we are suffering in this heat like the 3rd summer in row.
>wet towels in this humidity
user I... anyways I've been drinking close to 3L a day and that's not counting coffee and milk in it
considering sleeping in my car with ac on full blast, they predict 33 on friday. im dead at 25. it was 23 today and my feet was swelling up already and i had trouble staying focused.
I forget humidity exist in the rest of the world. I'm in California where don't have to deal with humidity.
Isn't letting your car idle for long periods of time bad for it?
dont think so but i wont do it, stupid idea. split unit heat pumps/ac are extremely popular here and my parents has 2 that i installed, guess i just stay the weekend with them.
We do
What do 35+ feel like?
Really? The news kept saying there isn't one.
>Europe is hotter than northern mexico right now
Wow... how?
These are record temperatures. Highest since 1944 in some parts of Europe.
Like a small bathroom after taking a hot shower.
>not having AC in offices
How is this even possible? Are you in Bangladesh not West Europe?
Geilenkirchen, NRW (40,5°C) just took the all-time heat record from Kitzingen, Bavaria (40,3°C). Can't wait for tomorrow. We might break the record on two consecutive days.
It's worse in the sunlight
What kind of climate does Serbia have?
Warm in summer, cold in winter
Inland temperate climate i guess. We get both snowy winters and hot summers, but it's never extreme (-10 to +32 usually, this year +37 happened which is insane)
>africa where the paris is
wew
Same here, 39,3° which is the all time record, tomorrow it might even get hotter.
The strange part is there are people who actually get off of this weather, i'll never understand them. It's literally celebrating death.
It was 22-23c where I live in the US the last couple days.
It felt so nice. It's going back up tomorrow, ending up 30-32c
This a general rule for me year round.
Depends on humidity.
Dry 50 degrees desert is a lot more bearable than humid 30 degrees equatorial jungle.
t. been to both
I wish I was in Iceland right now. 32 °C at 11 PM is inhumane and I'm sure I'm applicable for some kind of a climate refugee programm in a comfy northern country
it isn't any better in here
Mountains are enough
It still gets above 30°C in the days in the Alps but if your town is above 1500m it always drops at night
Bought air conditioning today, i'm so done with this shit. I can cope with a couple of days 30°C like a normal European summer, but this is bullshit.
>Humidity: 52%
KANKER OP
>limburg
F
>Be northsh*ts
>Never miss an occasion to say Meds are subhumans for living in such a hot climate
>Meanwhile they're still above 30°C at night whereas here the Mediterranean winds have blown the heat away as soon as the afternoon ended
>Like yesterday and like the rest of the summer
Depends on which place in Med tbqh
>40C tomorrow
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
The coast
Places like Nîmes are relatively close to the sea but still fucked
>global warming
You wanna go together ? I have a boat.
I mean as far as our coast is concerned, otherwise I'm not aware of every climate specificity of the entire Med shoreline
I mean, I lived in Nice and the temperature never really dropped during summer, even nights were relatively hot.
>Currently 26C and 80% humidity.
Fuck off.
Well it seems like this map is fairly accurate then Nice being in the blue bit of Provence and all
>took two days of work to survive the heatwave
>sit in comfy cool apartment while the world around me burns
>mfw heat alert on the news while I'm sipping hot chocolate milk
Oops
Failed the post but you can't miss said map
>wind blow the heat away
>wind is 28*
your nights are too hot year round
I blame the Alps desu, even though I like them
>people don't like the heat
just like close the thread lmao
Some southern towns are literally experiencing water shortages rofl. Fucking dry bitches.
It's 25°C right now, and will drop at around 21-22°C at the freshest of the night. This has been going on since the start of summer with only a few exception, cope harder
We did got buttfucked by a quick 46°C by the last heatwave though
Well just drive up a decent mountain to escape the heat I reckon
:)
>that huge drop between thursday and friday
lol you aren't just importing sandniggers but their climates too
How is the weather in burrito land instead
>31
okay
It's actually a cool 31°c here on the border
>global warm raises temperatures
>stronger heat waves
>turn AC all day
>pollute the air with CO2, O3 and Ch4 retain heat which makes it even worse
>How are you guys preparing for this nightmare?
I'm not.
The heat produced by AC's can actually significantly raise the temperatures in a city environment so you need the AC even more.
I open my window so that the earth cools down again. Checkmate climate fags.
22* at night is still all too high, a minimum temperature at night of 20* is called a tropical night here and is both rare and feared. comfy bedroom temperature is max 15-16 with the window open.
>a minimum temperature at night of 20* is called a tropical night here
Same in Belgium. On average we have less than one a year, but this year we already had 3 and two more are forecasted. These things used to be very rare untill 20 years ago.
Scary stuff.

19 and raining
Keep your curtains closed at days.
Doing 11-8pm at work with no fans, windows or AC and barely any water.
Please god set the place on fire. Please
white ppl be like "this heat wave too spicy for me" lmao
Suffocatingly if it's humid and cloudy, crushing if it's in the direct sunlight. Your only hope is that some cooling winds come up (of course they don't during a heatwave).
damn nice apu fren
