A question for russians, canadians, scandinavians, finns, brits and anyone who's from a country where it snows a lot, sunlight is scarce and the sky is gray most of the time, AND who's visited a tropical sunny country at least once in his/her life: Did you feel happier when you were there, did you feel depressed when you had to go back to the cold grayness of your home country?

Winter is more comfy than summer

After being a week in a warm country I wish to be back in my rainy homeland. The sun is fun for maybe a few days but after thay it gets annoying. You are sweating all the time, you feel lazy and everyone is agitated due to feeling constantly uncomfortable.

Returning both from Spain and Italy I was thankful that it ended, and I’m coming home

I like rain and clouds.

The unbearable heat in countries close to the equator made me tired of living. As soon as I come home and exit the airport, I feel the fresh crisp air and get reminded that there's no other place I'd call home.
The sky isn't always grey here, btw.

overcast with snow is nice tho. too much overcast with rain is depressing but sometimes thunderstorms can be comfy. too much sun like in a desert is also depressing but in a different way. tropical/beach life is best life.

Winter here fucks me up. Every time I go to the Caribbean in the winter i have an afterglow for a week and then I go back to being a depressed faggot that needs to take vitamin d supplements
summer here is excellent though. if someone tells you that they prefer winter, and they don’t do anything like ski or play hockey, they’re probably a virgin shutin. Winter in the city sucks here
