Why would I play CKII? It ends before the reformation. I don't want to play as a Cathocuck or a pagan. I prefer EU4, I go protestant, win the league war and genocide cathies and muslims

>protestantism

Tried getting into CK but it's just too overwhelming , any advice ?

just keep playing eu4

Read some books about feudalism

Catholicism should be a tier lower because if you don't listen to the pope everyone hates you and sometimes declare war on you. Such a pain in my ass.
Islam is pretty kino except for the decadence mechanics which is even a bigger pain in my ass.
Zoroastrianism should be higher because incest is great when you want to secure the family position.
And I still don't understand how to make Jews appear in my realm.

go play in Ireland

step 1: pirate the full game with all the DLCs because fuck how expensive this shit is
step 2: before starting the game, choose mechanics that would make it easy for you. Preferably make your vassals powerless or unnecessary
step 3: choose an easy kingdom to rule
step 4: gradually get the hang of things until you can play it properly

CK2 is better than HOI4, EU4 and all the others. It's so much more fun.
And watch videos that explain everything.

How to successfully adopt feudalism without all of your vassals revolting immediately?
