Ground for fuck bongs

>still posting this after you've already been told off for being stupid a hundred times

Attached: penn-jillette-profile.jpg (300x214, 18K)

You're being confused because there is no separate word for floor at ground level and floors above it in your mutt language

>Ground floor = Piano terra
Mmm, ok, I'll have to give this one to the bongs.
Fuck off, mutt

Attached: 1550771826100.jpg (1200x1200, 129K)

Because there's need to be an arbitrary distinction
>m-mutt
Top npc

-4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4

thats how numbers work lad

Why is a two-story building have two floors then bongs?

Based and groundpilled

Britsharias be like: Yes, we won both the Ground World War and the First World War!

Attached: 1512152425928.png (637x588, 18K)

BASED

There's no absence of a floor you retard

Wait, so you use two different systems depending on whether you are above or under ground level?

that's why it's called ground floor you retard

Ground level is the default though.

Blow it out your ass

There is only rez-de-chaussée, étages and sous-sols

No it's the same floors just in reverse, there's no 0 floor

>ground floor

>British buildings have no floor when you walk in, it’s just bare earth / "ground", like a mud hut
Third world country in disguise

>be american
>jump out the first floor window
>fall 0 floors

>I have ground apple, one apple, two apples...

If you go up a floor you are +2, if you go down a floor you are - 1
Two different systems.

Same in German with Erdgeschoß, 1. Stockwerk, 2. Stockwerk...

Weird how Brits think that the first floor is the second floor. Maybe there should be an underground floor too and then the 2nd basement floor is called the first.

>Languagelets using floors to determine how high up they are

japan like america

what did he mean by this?

You have two seconds to delete this post

Brits are retarded

>go in lift/elevator
> buttons go -3 -2 -1 1 2 3

It's not your language, it's the Brits'

Yes theybdo

Yes, because either you're saying there's no floor between 1 and -1 or the floor where you walk in doesn't count for no reason
The bongs alive had nothing to do with creating it and ended up arbitrarily changing English because muh colonists

So you admit that you use two different systems?

>or the floor where you walk in doesn't count for no reason
it counts as the ground floor, 0 is not null

No it's the same system. 0 can not be a floor because it is not a quantifiable value.

It's between -1 and 1, which is not a whole number

I’m an anglo that grew up in quebec and didn’t know what the RC button on elevators meant until I was like 10

Brits have mental retardation ingrained in their dna fucking kek

>be a yank
>go down the stairs from floor one
>it bypasses the ground and goes straight to floor negative one instead

HEAVING

Attached: Porglets-DK.png (340x222, 207K)

I understand where you're coming from but I'll say it again: 0 is not nothing, in the british case it's 'floors above or below ground/0'

some definitions of whole numbers include 0 but that's another can of worms, I think you mean natural numbers, either way negative numbers aren't whole or natural numbers

>be British
>name the above ground floor 0
>but name the below ground floor -1

the floor above ground is 1 you dumb mutt

Are you drunk?

>British think the ground is three dimensional instead of a 2 dimensional plane between above ground and underground

0 is ground
1 is above ground
-1 is below ground

But ground floor is 8ft or so tall, not 0.

>what floor is g? g isn't a number

Attached: Ash_lift_buttons_full_size.jpg (1000x1333, 986K)

British houses do not have flooring but instead have just pure soil at the bottom. Thus ground_floor, and the first floor is literally the first instance of floor in the house.

Dude clearly the first 10 feet of everything is 0 because it's the ground and then we measure the height of things from there.

I don't think you understand what the ground is

Would like to hear Canadians and Australians opinions on the matter to be honest

finns never figured out concrete from the romans or how to drain bog/soil from the dutch so they need to build their houses on silts

Attached: Header_countryside_red_house_cottage.jpg (2560x1452, 1.52M)

So buildings don't have a ground/G floor in the US?

No

I've never been in a multilevel building what's it like?

Brits have 2 taps and put carpet in the bathroom

Did not know that. What is the ground level typically referred to in elevators in building with basement level floors?

one tap for cold one tap for hot
simple as

>2 taps
Isn't that normal?

I agree with Brits, we do the same thing

yes. americans can only use cold or hot water at once, pathetic!

The first floor.

>carpet in the bathroom
Yeah but you've got to look at it from their perspective:
>"well I never bathe; I might as well make another living room."

Righto then, fair enough.

it has nothing to do with lack of concrete or bogs, theres an actual reason why you'd want there to be room under your wooden house floor with circulating air but I'm sure the conept is beyond you t:someone living in an alike house built in the 19th century and it's still like new

>prizemlje (ground floor)
>prvi sprat (first floor)
>drugi sprat (second floor)
>treći sprat (third floor)
Etc.
Simple as

Never had carpet in a bathroom, never seen that either.
Would like to know where that meme comes from.

>Erdgeschoss = Ground floor
>Erstes Obergeschoss = First floor
Americans are the mentally ill ones

that silly, those are ordinals, not cardinals. 3rd floor doesn't mean there are three floors on that level.

>earth floor
>first over floor
At least yours makes more sense

we say the same as the bongs retard mohammed

Do you think that the ground is three dimensional or two dimensional? At what dimensions am I considered to be in the ground area?

Why do Brits wear shoes inside?

Attached: kek.png (837x593, 296K)

>call it ground floor in online FPS
>team make fun of me and accuse me of being a Canadian

Attached: 1548918767588.jpg (816x720, 126K)

Americans are right on this one.

There is literally no difference, you mong.

Sadly it's like team bongs,
>parter
>first floor
>second etc

WHY CAN'T YOU SAY THAT FIRST FUCKING FLOOR IS THE ONE THAT YOU ARE ENTERING FIRST FUCK

British people are four-dimensional beings confirmed

>Americans call the -1 basement-floor as, "0"

What the fuck?

you have the same system retard
>prízemie
>prvé poschodie
>druhé poschodie

Attached: Screenshot_20190626_010715_com.android.gallery3d.jpg (1080x2280, 1.26M)

"schody" are stairs so we use stairs to determine how high we are and not floors so the ground floor means "close to ground" and the 1st floor means "first after-stairs" and so there are no retarded Americans causing confusion

OK so you're saying Brits actually call it the zero floor?

i thought norwegians were meant to be well educated

The ground floor is the 0th floor? lmao

KEK

>Why yes, I'm british, how did you know?

Attached: Screenshot_20190725-210536_Chrome.jpg (1080x2220, 526K)

Everyone seems to use -1 0 1 for their buildings and LOS uses -1 1 2
do americans really?

Bongs are right on this one to be honest
