we kind of have the opposite problem in the east with weeds, I've spent at least 10 hours a week the past few years getting rid of weeds, luckily the ground cover i used is growing in well and keeping weeding to a minimum. lawn is still all weeds though, might try replanting it Wich clover since there are a few solid patches so it might be able to hold it's own.
