Polish state budget income in 2017 amounted to 350,5 billion PLN which was 92 billion dollars, so the contribution from the EU was around 9% of our income. Sure, it's a significant help but you can't say our economy is based on EU funds. If Poland was 9% poorer, we wouldn't really notice it, neither would Ukrainians who come to Poland to work, because even if their salaries were 9% lower, they would be still 3 times higher than in Ukraine.
