I've started to collect old computers from friends to set up as miners.

So it's just another random currency coin that no one has ever heard of and the only people who are going to buy it are desperate bag holders hoping to 10x their money but in reality they're buying your bags. Got it.
It gives me a reason to finally go to back to best buy n microcenter so I can set their floor models to mine for me. God bless their easy addresses.
What hashrate are you guys getting? I'm using 75% of my CPU and getting about ~18kH/s, not bad I guess. It'll be cool to have around 70k after a year of mining, although I could buy that for $100 so it almost seems not worth the effort.
What do you guys think?
Either buy it or figure out how to set up vps. Difficulty won't stay low forever, your 18kh/s will take you forever
Try it and you'll see. Takes like 5 mins to set up. It's literally Bitcoin 2.0.

Jow Forums is here
Tried mining for fun but just bought in the end, as I only have one machine and need it for dev work
>figure out how to set up vps
I did that with Google + Azure, that's what you're talking about right? It racked me up 15k NIM pretty quickly, but again it seemed like a lot of work for something that only cost ~$15
