I still don't understand how anyone could possibly fuck up a World War 2 setting...probably the most well known conflict in modern history.

The introduction of paying for added content has turned the gaming industry into a bunch of lazy ass motherfuckers that release half a finished product for $60 and then sell you $100 worth of shit that if this was 15 years ago would have been included with the final release.

In the long run this should help the price. This delay isn't for improvements to the game. It's so that it doesn't release on the same day as RDR2 and Spider-Man, but EA won't mention that.

It seems like indie devs that are "opposed" to all this stuff still end up filling their game with hipster lumberjacks and shitty self aware """humor""" or teen nihilist melodrama, usually both. Regardless of political orientation the cancer seems to be terminal. Mid-sized publishers would be nice to have back so there could be some actual resources put behind worthwhile ideas, but the kind of nerds that made the classics back in the 90's-early 2000's are gone and dead anyway.
