Adorable. My grandparents had a similar sort of crazy way of meeting each other and marrying, but I can’t remember the specifics. I’d have to ask my mom, but basically they were Latvians during WW2 and a whole bunch of lucky coincidences had to happen for them to be able to stay together and eventually make it to the US.
