A while ago I sent binance 50 bux worth of an erc20 token that wasn't listed. Of course they have the wallet keys anyway since all erc20 tokens have the same address on it. I asked for them to send it back, but customer support they wanted about $800 worth of ethereum for that service. Kinda odd since their customer support already gets an hourly wage and all he'd have to do is his job.
Now meanwhile they listed that token and it still won't show up in my balance. What's the chance of getting it back from them now without having to sell my kidneys to pay people who already get paid?
They always charge more than it is actually worth to do that. There are a bunch of stories about it.
Some guy did it with 12K worth and they wanted 15K for it.

Wth...... seriously wth..
A bot could do the job of sending back wrong erc20 tokens. It would have to be carefully checked to not be a security risk but seriously some hours of coding and this issue would be done forever. It's just erc20 shit.
I've made them more than 50 bux in fees. Their moral highground is a lie.

>Sending back wrong ER20 tokens. Doesn't work like that. What if you sent them from another exchange? The wallet they sent it from isn't going to be your personal wallet. It would just get lost in another system endlessly.

>50 bux worth of an erc20 You need to be over 18 to browse Jow Forums.

>What if you sent them from another exchange? Valid concern. I guess if the other exchange had a similar system set up, they'd ping pong the stuff back and forth until one of them decides the gas fees would be higher than the amount left.

>Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. Ever heard of that, you poor loser?

It could be half-automated then, you log in and the system checks if there are unlisted erc20 tokens in your binance wallet. Then it asks for an address to send them to. Solved. This would eat about a week or two of a coder's time to implement. No reason to charge me $800 etc.

Clearly you didn’t when you sent binance your shitcoins
