Argentine and chilean military admired the old prussian tradition so they adopted a lot of german styles. Just google some photos of modern chilean aoldiers in a parade and you'll see.
Not my country but Germany sold a lot of its uniforms and equipment to other countries to fund rearmament, thats why the Argentines have German uniforms and helmets. Pic related it's Chinese Nationalist army during WW2 in German uniforms and using their equipment.

He is pleased to see a sword. The Philippine president respects him and Onoda-san has become a great force to deepen the friendship between Japan and the Philippines.

Bornean (Sarawak) ranger unit. Notice the ears. They're expert in jungle terrain, hunting Dai Nippon.
But Argentina never implemented the german doctrine in their military like Chile did...
He's right the government bought the licence for the german uniform in 1930 in order to replace the old outdated uniform (pic related with the swiss M18 helmet).

Estonian soldiers fighting for Finland during the Continuation war. They were called "Soomepoisid" or "Finnish boys". Around 3500 in total served, about 200 died. Most later returned to Estonia to fight for Germany, some decided to stay in Finland and were subsequently arrested and given to the Red Army as part of the peace treaty between Finland and Soviet union.

Latin American countries adopted the Prussian doctrine, at least Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Perú did. But only Chile kept it almost intact to this day.
