Because it's shit. Im in Northern Ireland and it's also shit. There's nothing here but poorly maintained fields and boring towns. The culture is mainly just hating each other and drinking. The architecture is generally poor and even the good architecture was made by the British. I actually wonder why people want the country to reuinify so much cause the whole place is just so fucking bland anyway. The sport is grim. The GAA even has political shit in its rules but its alright nobody cares cause nobody else fucking plays it anyway.
