Yes, I just watched it. Well to be honest I'm a fan since I was a kid (I read Tove Jansson's books when I was in third or fourth grade), but I really loved that adaptation, it's very close to the books even if they've reordered some things.

When I was a kid the show aired saturdays at 6pm or something. We always went to sauna before it and then ate ice cream while watching it.

I remember my mom bought me the Moomin books when I was homebound with a flu - there were the Midwinter book, the Comet one and the one with the short stories. Since then, I'm a fan, and have read all of the stuff :3

Moomins is probably the most wholesome of any art or media ever created.
I still read the books and watch the show sometimes and it always makes me smile. It's just magical, warm and otherworldly.

Definitely. There's a lot of simple life lessons we don't think about or think we don't have the time to think about.
Most important, at least for me, being "Just chill for a moment and enjoy life."

It was a very influential thing for me too, in a similar way. I learned to stop worrying and just let it go.
