If you're looking for a hail mary and not just some low-risk gains, then you gotta go for a prominent low-cap coin with a lot of fomo potential. I'm in the same poorfag boat as you, and I'm personally all in 0xbtc, which has a market cap of only 1.5mm, but has already managed to make Jow Forums foam at the mouth at the mere mention of it. I'm phonefagging atm, so I cba to write the whole thing out, but I suggest you start by reading the whitepaper and go from there. Remember, never trust Jow Forums, including myself, always dyor and look out for opportunities when others are still sound asleep.
