euros dont spend al ltheir days in their mcmansions and traffic jams, isntead we enjoy our time in public spaces which all have AC. its hardly worth it to get AC at home when you spend a minimal amount of time there during summers (and that too is just to mainly sleep there and nights are chill anyway) and it's seriously never that hot here. only mutts obsess about muh mcmansion ac and tv meals, euros on the other hand go out and enjoy culture since we have some.

I don't know where in Europe you work but here in the north AC is completely useless 95% of the year.
Not even in Spain AC are that common, and it's one of the hottest countries of Europe, here in Europe they are in public spaces like museums, shops, or the workplace, but having one in a house is seen as a massive waste of money because it's unnecessary, and we euros don't like wasting money.
