I've decided, lads. Chile is my next travel destination. Any Chilenos have any advice? I'm planning to start in Santiago and work my way down South. What's the perfect time of year to visit? Any recommended stops? How will a CHI like myself be treated? Will they make fun of my Spanish like the Ethpañoles do?

Come in summer so you don't get too many days with rain and cold

>friend hops on a plane to Australia because it’s summer
>he arrives in the winter

Why’s that Brazilian flying the flag of Chile?

You can stop here

Summer for you guys would be December through February, right?

yes

chilenos like to tease in a friendly way
so expect them mocking your accent

Don't come during summer, plan for spring, during summer everything worth visiting is full of tourists

When does it get hottest and how hot does it get? Average Summer day here is, like, almost 100 degrees fahrenheit, so I'm used to the heat. Also, does it snow in Santiago during the Winter?

We also have niggers. Be careful with them

I recommend you ask this guy. He lives pretty down south near touristic cities youtube.com/user/ChileExpatFamily
I'm pretty sure spring is rainny as fuck in the south.

*around them*

>Any recommended stops?

my bed

That's pretty short notice, unfortunately. I don't think I'll save up enough by then.

I'm an American, m8. I've met plenty of Black folks. The large majority of them have been good people.

Santiago is the hottest place and it's not hotter than that. Maybe highs of 32C(89F) one or two days a week. The south is mostly 21-24C at most with maaybe 28C some days

It's not the same when you're a tourist..

You don't need that much money besides the ticket, unless you are planning on staying in hotels

>Santiago
Stay in Providencia, there are some tourist traps that you can visit. Avoid going to the city center: plaza de armas, estación central, etc (It's a shithole full of FLAITES (chilean niggers) and immigrants
I've only visited a few cities in the south, so I can't give you many tips
Also this

>visiting latin america as a CHI
don't go, they hate you

What kind of immigrants?

I don't care. I still wanna visit.

We don't care about chicanos, if you act as a civilized human being you'll be treated well

chicanos can pass as local here

We don't care about chicanos.

The kind who sell things on the street and don't respect public order, there are robbers too

I'm a CHI, but I've been told I look like an Arab, especially when I have a beard. I won't get any shit, will I?

Don't worry fren, people only hate haitians, colombians and venezuelans here.
