why are Indonesians and Malaysians so overly Islamic,I have met the various peoples of Pakistan,Various Arabs and other Muslims who all considered Indonesians and Malaysians to be overly Islamic
Why are Indonesians and Malaysians so overly Islamic,I have met the various peoples of Pakistan...
Other urls found in this thread:
Islam has been used in the Arab world as a way to suppress people , but a way to liberate people in other places
Dubs and China invades them and puts all their Muslims in concentration camps
Reroll
This is it
Concentration camps are most likely a hoax though
The 2 most overly religious communities in Pakistan are Muhajirs(Urdu speakers) and Pathans(Pashtuns)
While Pathans are deeply Islamic they still reattain many aspects of their culture and tribal Identity(for better or worse) so for a pathan they loyalty for his particular tribe and people will often go beyond nationality and even Islam
Muhajirs (Urdu speakers) were Muslims who came from central India to live in newly formed Pakistan, most of them came from Biihar and Utter Padesh and their has always been a divide between them and other Pakistani's and most of them have no connection to their ancestral homeland and as a community nothing really binds them so they cling on to Islam as unifying Identity and on the Internet their the one's who talk about Ghazwa-e-Hind and making the world Islamic and acting really cringy
I find that hard to believe when a lot still do stuff like pic related
the few that are over islamic are too exposed to arab influence
see my example here Indonesian who retain their cultural Identity while people who lack a culture will cling to Islam
Repressed homosexuality
Pashtuns, Kurds, Somalis are the most backward Muslim communities in the world along with Bedouin Arabs and they are all tribalistic, uneducated, and pop out billions of babies.
well not all Pathans but a good chunk of them are like this
they will gladly back stab other Muslims, their countrymen and other Pashtuns for the benefit of their tribe/clan
They have no culture
redpill me on waziristan, have you ever been there?
For Malaysian case - Islamic revivalism came primarily due to Iranian revolution and the start of the gradual decolonization process of the Malays in the 1970s as Malaysia departed away from pro-Western tendencies to that of being neutral under Tun Abdul Razak. Coupled with the arrival of Malaysian students from Saudi and Egypt in the 1970s, it fueled both Islamism and Malay Nationalism through the roof. The Arabization (and Iranianisation/Shia- ficaton too) came from the Islamist tendencies since both vies for influence over the traditional local Islam here (though the traditionalist would eventually won out over the former two).
This however led to increased hostilities between them as the then PM Dr Mahathir tried to stem the Islamisation with more secularised notion of Malay supremacism/ultra-nationalism (which backfired a lot even for Malays since Malays are more traditionalist and religious by nature). Despite mass repressions and even mass killings back in the 1980s, he finally relented and changed his policy to that of a controlled Islamisation which gradually healed relations between the two (since his actual political foe were in his own camp by the personage of Anwar Ibrahim and his neo-liberal Reformasi movement) and by now they're pretty much one and the same.
Funny, by this decade Islamisation and Malay nationalism has become one and the same now instead of the used to be Arabization coming from the former and secularisation from the latter and both are espousing Malay traditionalism by now. However it must be said that despite the return to traditionalism, the after-effects of the Arabization and the Shia-fication can still be felt here even to this very day.
The ones who have been assimilated by Punjabs and Tajiks in Pakistan and Afghanistan are of course more civilized but the ones who live amongst themselves. follow their disgusting tribalistic code of honour and don't know how to read and write are undoubtedly the majority.
nope but my Uncle and a group of his friends were robbed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
they were driving down the open road when they noticed a barrier had been put up on the road, they stopped the car and didn't know what was going on when suddenly groups of Armed men came from the mountains and bushes
they had Kalashnikov and blot action rifles and took all their money, their phones and everything of value in the car
they drained the car of Petrol and left them with enough to go as far as the nearest village
they left them with their Identity and credit cards though
and because of conflicts in Afghanistan hundreds of thousands of Pashtus come here in Pakistan,we have the largest refuge population in the world
If the US leaves of Afghanistan I don't know what will happen will they go back to to Afghanistan or decide they will settle in Pakistan or will more Pashtuns be coming here
Aceh is not Indonesia.
Aceh is Turkey, their flag proves it
True. Fuck that useless province.
Unproductive, waste of tax money.
What's going on in the picture?
Watch this
wanna use the Pashtun and Muhajirs as parallels once more
Pashtusns do follow Islam but add in many cultural Pashtun beliefs, and some consider this heresy, hell even the Taliban added Tribal Pashtun belies when they ruled Afghanistan
While the Muhajirs practice a very "Arabacised",Islam ,they learn the Arabic language,go on and on about some supposed Arab ancestry, talk about Ghazwa-e-hind and reject most of the various cultures of Pakistan

Offering in the form of a cow head. In the picture here the offering will be set afloat to the sea. Obviously it has pagan origins, but a lot of javanese people still do it, but the offering is directed towards Allah now instead of the goddess of the sea or something.
>waziristani
>waziri
That’s a based name desu
Why are the guys swimming next to it?
i see, probably and area you want to travel in if you are with the locals? Interesting reading never the less and good that your uncle got out alive
Do Muslims really believe in God? I'm not trying to offend you guys but really curious as I'm an atheist. What made you believe in the presence of God when its scientifically impossible to prove its existence?
not sure but apparently you follow the boat with the cow head quite far off into the sea before you leave it. I'm not sure why they're swimming though.
Here's a video I found of a festival that's probably related to the pic youtu.be
I don't believe in God and I know for a fact that many of my cousins are agnostic but we don't leave for Europe or more secular countries because of cultural and ethnic reasons
Ask the same question to any religious person and the answer would be similar
indogs, theyre fine with me
but malays i fucking hate them
it's more of a cultural reason than a religious reason that you stick with the Muslim culture? Interesting. I was expecting the reasons why God exists and why you came to believe in it.
anyways thanks for the answer ;)
Since Korea is kind of a secular country, I have no one who's religious around me. Even if there are some people who call themselves religious, they dont seem to me like really pious ones. which is why I wondered how they can be so pious and loyal to their religion
How often does it happen? Is the cow eaten afterwards?
Though religion has influenced the various cultures of Pakistan, each culture remains distinct and each culture remains ethnically distinct
there's max 20 million Bedouins on earth
The one who goes to your country are the religious ones
The average people go to other countries, and identify more with being asian
When you've been conditioned to believe something since infancy and everyone around you seemed to reinforce that belief, you'll begin to twist everything to fit your bias even scientific facts.
The specifics varies between regions. In jepara for example it's on one week after ied, in banyuwangi it's on the second week of the month safar. The only common thing is the ritual of cow head set afloat in the middle of the sea on decorated boats.
Obviously the cow head isn't eaten because it's already set afloat in the middle of the sea. While the rest of the cow is probably eaten.
Are you religious?
>Obviously the cow head isn't eaten because it's already set afloat in the middle of the sea
Why not? Is the water polluted? Head cheese is delicious.
>Are you religious?
No. And I have to mention that I'm not javanese and the javanese people that I've encountered don't have the cow head tradition, so everything I've said is based on what I've read and heard.
>why not?
because that's the whole point of the tradition? I think the origin of the tradition was to give offering to the sea by fishermen for good luck so it doesn't make sense for them to come back and take the cow head back.
But if it's edible why not make food out of it?
I don't know, traditions are weird. There's no taboo preventing anyone from eating cow heads though. So I guess they can eat some other cow head.
>reattain many aspects of their culture and tribal Identity
You mean they still fuck boy dancers
Just our culture.
We’re very xenophobic so we don’t change easily.
Also the reason why we don’t mass migrate to Australia or some other country.
>This projection
Calling us overly religious while behind that proxy flags wont hide you blood scent Wang wei
you mean "Bacha bazi" not all Pashtuns but I will say a quarter of them do engage in such acts, this used to exists in Central Asia as well but the Soviets put an end to it
What does this even mean?
Bro, space your commas properly.
>Islam has been used in the Arab world as a way to suppress people
>"Convert and follow our interpration of Islam or we cut off your head!"
>, but a way to liberate people in other places
>"Lets unite under the banner of Islam to get those colonialist/communist/corrupt bastards out of our country!"
It's not you are welcome in first place
Fuck off indian scam support
the biggest losers in the world are arab atheists. just imagine the smell upon meeting one of those cringelords, not like you ever will since they never go outside.
