no

Still have a OnePlus One phone
Still on a 1080p60 monitor after downgrading from 1440p144
2003 Honda

Most technology peaked a long time ago.

>Oy vey ze goys aren't buying new iphone every 6 months this is a disastah!

>new phone every quarter
>wow more pixels in a tiny screen
>wow more pixels in a tiny camera sensor
>retards still buy them

short apple

the entire market is. tech has been the only thing keeping it afloat. fun times ahead if you've already exited the market.

I think the entire economy, most notably housing is going to burst. Tech is a different story. Nobody is buying a new iPhone when the 6S is still holding up just fine for most people. We've reached the point where there are no notable upgrades on Apple's part. The rest of the tech sphere is filled with junk that people just aren't buying such as home automation (smart locks, smart lighting, smart fridge).I think people are finally realizing that tech is beginning to become overwhelming rather than simplifying their lives. Trends such as minimalism are growing as people try to escape everyday stresses such as mortgage/studentloan/credit card repayments so they certainly don't need to upgrade their series 3 Apple watch to a series 4.

tech bubble, recession, depression, idk what you want to call it but it's part of the market cycle. time to time it happens u dumbfuck.

waaaaaaaaaaaa, what about my IOTAs? they said IoT is definitely the future?

Welp, good thing people will hedge their money during the downturn into bitcorns because it's digital gold, right goys? Their hard earned money certainly won't get pumped and dumped by NEET whales, right?

IOTA is KILL

Literally the only thing stopping me from doing this is that warren Buffet just bought a nunch more AAPL the other day. He knows something we don't

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

always go long big government

how the fuck can you short the #1 provider of CIA eavesdropping devices?

The old fart is just shouting yolo, not much time left in him.

Ask yourself this question: are redundant factory, fast food jobs, and "turn on and off" customer support done by robots? Are there realistic sex dolls? If the answer to these questions is no, there are still ineffiencies and we have a long way to go, we may be in a bubble and the stock market may crash, but if you sell tech now you deserve to be poor. When the AI singularity feels like it's about to happen any moment, you sell tech

Why'd you downgrade from 144hz? I don't think I could ever go back. It's so smooth.

It a truly beautiful IPS but it was more monitor than I really needed. Sold it for not much less than the retail price I got it for and bought a high quality exercise bike.
It was only weird for a month at most, now i'm used to a cheap 1080 again I don't feel like i'm missing out. Most of new technology is just a temporary "something new and shiny" placebo.

>still on iphone 5s
>still using i5 2500k from 7 years ago
>only upgraded gpu to 1080 this year, run every new game on the market easily (got 1080 on sale)
>still on 1080p

i have no reason to update any of the tech i have other than the GPU. i dont give a shit about new tech. i just want $500k from crypto so i can buy a log cabin in the mountains and live there forever

Things like Alexa - what the fuck is that piece of shit? Who actually buys that?

Go long on sex dolls though.

Still on the iPhone 7 here, will probably keep this bad boy for another 3 years if it holds up. 5 years is the sweet spot for phones, 15 years for cars

I'm still using a Macbook Pro that I bought like 3 years ago, runs great. No reason to upgrade.

Still using an iPhone 6+, it's a little slow but not awful. No reason to upgrade.

My 1080p TV is just fine. No reason to upgrade.

My gaming PC was built like 8 years ago, I threw a gtx970 in it, works great for 1080p. No reason to upgrade.

I feel like most stuff that's come out in the past 3-5 years is good to keep going. Nothing really game changing out right now, or out in the near future.

I am from the UK and every other week there is news of layoffs.

Companies are shedding staff that makes people weary.

I wonder if this is the same around the world too.

With an ID like that you're totally gonna make it

My ex was gifted one from her mom. Only ever used it for setting a timer while cooking and playing the radio. What a useless piece of shit.

I dunno but it's definitely over for San Francisco. They are hemorrhaging devs left and right.

you mean putting bluetooth in everything? Like a tooth brush and shoes?

100% agree.

They could make an iphone with the same specs in a new case and increment the number and someone would "upgrade" from the previous generation.

we still need the microwave that kills your jew neighbor
