Is it true Samis steal babies?
Tampere is the northernmost point I've been to.
Never heard of this so probably no
What do you there aside from eating reindeer and sometimes looking at the aurora borealis?
You visit _the_ Santa Claus
Drive snowmobiles.
This commercial is pretty but very dumb.
Why would you promote a touristic attraction that you should see real version of in the form of a 2d animation?
Because it looks better in nature.
is there no Finn tales about the creation of those auroras? I mean, before anyone knew it was from the solar wind.
Everyone can see when you have sex in there. Kinda dumb.
I don't think we have but saame people have tales about them being made by a flying fiery fox.
There are curtains inside. Unless you climb on top of them you can't see inside.
Don't think you would want to go back to Lapland anyway.
>you
>having sex
LMAO
Alright. Is it affordable for a student? Or is Finland extremely expensive?
>Is it true Samis steal babies?
Kouléaeavgga dohkkehanbeaivi šat sámás....
(no)
Give me big uralic cock
Do you consider 400+€ per night cheap?
>Finland
>Cheap
Pick one
Is Nippon cheap either?
Based on my own experience. It's much cheaper than Finland for sure.
As long as you don't have to go to school that is.
Which will debt you for life.
>paying for school
The government pays me to go to school.
Not in Japan though.
Finland and especially Lapland is not only expensive but also overpriced. Rovaniemi is a concrete town with a Santa Clause-themed Disneyland next to it, and any activities you might do like dogsledding are going to be expensive and cost you at least 100 euro in fees. Even a trip to see northern lights (with no guarantee of seeing them) will cost around 100 euro per person. A 2 minute dogsled ride in Santa Clause Village (that's what it's called) costs 30 euro. A meal in a Rovaniemi restaurant isn't cheap either. And going in the peak season with all the other tourists is horrible.
Honestly you're better off exploring Germany in the winter. You have snow too.
Because the reality is a lot uglier. Rovaniemi is a concrete town like I said. I see no snow in the commercial. You only see northern lights in the winter. In the summer there isn't even a sunset. It's just bait for stupid tourists.
>Rovaniemi

Shut the fuck up
Thanks for the answer.
there's a site that leaves several versions per country/culture, from greek/roman to native americans and others that instead witness the aurora australis
mostly gods and ancestor spirits
can't afford to
I'm not lying.

Unless you are Finn or part of Finland's social welfare, Finland will be very expensive place to live in. Food and rent prices are high (Rent / house price can be cheap if you live in middle of nowhere though), if you drink alcohol or smoke, that's also gonna be very expensive for you. Services are usually cheap though (internet, phone and such) and don't have shady contracts. If you manage to get job or be part of welfare in Finland though, you'll have pretty good buying power globally however, and it's great and safe country to live in or raise a family. Prepare for depressing winter and darkness, summer is beautiful and always bright.
>400+
they better suck you off twice a day for that price holy shit
Yeah it's disgustingly overpriced.
why?
>from greek/roman
them? seeing auroras? does that mean that auroras used to be seen way to the south (equator)?
posting in finland thread
To rape them? Yes
Just to steal them? No
I have, as a child
