Think about it, nowadays looks matter way more than anything. Be it for a one-night stand with a condom or for a long-term relationship in which you plan on becoming a family, no one's going to want an ugly partner. Even though SOME uglies here and there get laid because they fell for the personality meme, they are still in a massive numerical disadvantage, and their sons most likely won't get a chance to pass on their genes as, since the abundance of CHAD couples passing on their genetic lottery genes means that they will become even less of a choice and will resort to just giving up and dying alone in their rooms. If only attractive people are getting laid with eachother then eventually only people with the very best genetics will remain, and slowly, because they are not passing down their characteristics (since they are so undesirable), ugly people will become more and more scarce, until the point of extinction.
