Russia compared to other Slavs

Why were other Slavic people so weak and irrelevant throughout history besides these guys? Is it the experience with the Mongols that turned them into such a powerful race? I mean when you look at the Central European Slavs who have been German slaves and the Balkan Slavs who have been Turkish slaves, the Russians seem like such an anomaly. They are literally the only shining light for the Slavic race.

I'm talking about your silly balkan comment. I live here, we on average have even darker eyes and features than Italians. Belarus by comparison was fucking Sweden. Rarely saw anyone (who wasn't a migrant) without blue eyes. And the darkest hair colors tended to still be brown, not black which is very similar to other central and northwest europeans. Infact more of them were light than even the bongs who in my experience had much higher counts of legitimate black hair.
