its syrup and carbonated water, syrup could be low

because apply pies take 12 minutes to cook and they arent always available

ask for fresh, get fresh, nuggets take about 3 minutes

Nah man, it doesn't matter how much better it is than min wage. It's still unsatisfactory. It's an entry level job. It's the biggest chain in my state. If you go full-time it's apparently really good. I have a college degree so moving up later on into management would be possible. For me though, I just need some part-time income so I wouldn't have to do it every day.

I've actually cleaned swimming pools full-time so this doesn't seem so bad.

Used to work over the summer and itspretty fucking gross. Some of the McChickens are soggy and grey and we just used to throw them in the fryer anyway. I also once dropped the entire basket of chicken nuggets and the manager told me to just pick them up from the floor and serve them anyway. Also some of the beaners prepare the food without wearing fuking gloves or washing their hands. Don't eat at Mcdonalds anons.

How is a mcchicken soggy and grey before you put them in the fryer? theyre frozen and then put in fryer, they dont get soggy inside the heat cabinet, opposite actually they get hard

it depends on the store, my managers were a pain in the ass because they were super strict but that's a good thing if you're a customer because everything was clean and generally fresh. If the managers dont really give a fuck then yeah it could be gross.

sometimes ppl would forget to put the bag of mcchickens back into the freezer so they would thaw out a bit, I think that's the only way that could happen

Have you ever worked the day shift? Which do you prefer? I’d imagine that taking on the night shift meant dealing with a bunch of drunk idiots the whole time.

My manager was a chick in college who didn't give a shit unless this asian lady who came once a week who im assuming was either the franchise owner or a supervisor of some sort.

the dude who owned our franchise would often come in without warning to see how well run the store had been. only one time was there a notice that I remember and we had to clean literally every inch of the place to perfection, doing that is what drove me to quit actually

It's a weird life. Things that other people take for granted turned into some kind of existential struggle for me. Like: what do you do when you get off work? Normies don't get off work and go right to sleep. Do you stay awake all day and then sleep until an hour before your shift, like normies do? Does that mean you go out for a few beers and dinner at 9am?

Those are the guys who take night shifts because "I'll be awake anyway."

it's not that bad user. I did it for years. We'd come in, face store, stock shelves and leave. It might be a lot of work depending on size of store, but it is not "bad" work

I'll second this. It is a weird shift time wise and you will sacrifice your social life in a big way if you do it

if you want a serious answer, its pretty tiring manual labor. i worked as a night stocker for around a year and I still get random cramps in my left leg

what happens is the stores hire JUST ENOUGH people so you will always have to work your ass off to get your aisles filled in. no time to chat with coworkers or even to take a piss sometimes. also if you get assigned the freezers you better wear long underwear and two jackets, you'll freeze to death otherwise

guess a benefit would be you wont have to go to the gym anymore since you'll be way too tired, just lifting heavy boxes and shit for 8 hours a day

I work night shift in a very large supermarket chain as a night filler, it's good money, don't have to deal with customers, can chuck your earphones in and just fill away.

You get used to the weird sleep schedule and it's pretty easy physically, not a bad gig

I hear it's actually fun. When I used to work at the grocery store the night guys were always fun to joke around with. You def have a lot of hardwork to do but there's more banter.

I do...processing in a very industrial part of a city, Eraserhead type of place. I work 12 hrs 6:30pm->6:30am.

i use to be 3rd shift stocker at walmart years ago. was pretty comfy. all the weird people come out at night. normies only come in on weekends drunk but they leave around midnight usually. the people. that come into walmart at like 1am are the coolest most weird people you will ever meet. i met this one guy that carried his pet snake around with him.
