It's a stunningly beautiful city, can't argue against that. Best city though? Hardly. Seville, Prague, Gdansk, Krakóv, Lisbon, Florence, Salzburg and Vienna are all more viable competitors for that title.

I prefer Paris to walk the streets, it's smaller and the architecture is better

Moscow is a world city in every sense. Great night life, great shopping, great historical sights. Real estate prices are around the same as London despite not being an arab playground

Every city is just bricks and clay so you can't really look at it liek that. It's pretty as you said, also has lots of attractions and activities and boasts a very unique atmosphere.
