Americans really do this

>NOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T TAX RICH PEOPLE! YOU HAVE TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH TAX AVOIDANCE OR ELSE THEY'LL JUST MOVE TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS!!

Attached: 1563895516284.jpg (1080x1012, 123K)

>wtf how dare you tax those innocent billionares, they deserve that money because... because they worked hard for it you dirty communist

This but unironically. It IS quite the solid argument.

>YES, billionaires deserve fifteen thousand times more than the rest of their workers, they worked harder and created the wealth!

Yes, Mr. Shekelstein tells everyone that since his income will be taxed, he'll have to pay himself more from his businesses, which means the company will no longer be profitable and have to move overseas. Also Mr. Shekelstein says he wants to move all his money out of the country now too

>haha sure buddy. cant wait to eat the rich in upcoming revolution!

Uh yeah? It's not like they're stopping you from amassing your own fortune. These people should be admired and healthily envied, not resented. They help economies grow through their work.

Most of the rich prople simply inherited their wealth, few actually worked hard to make it

It is a valid argument as long as those billionaires made their money with their hardwork. But we all know inheritance is the way to go for it.

>take money from the rich
>give it to politicians
genius, makes a huge difference lmao

billionaires like elon musk, zuckerberg, jeff actually want UBI. its the old money boomers like the devos that dont want higher taxes

>dude it's totally justified for a very small minority of the population hoarding the majority of wealth on earth

Attached: soy jump for joy.gif (413x243, 51K)

>Hard earned

>Citizenship-based taxation? Are you crazy? This isn't fair at all

Attached: 1529222009818.jpg (644x597, 52K)

I would love to put the rich against the wall when the revolution comes.

That’s not true. It’s only true for around 17% of millionaires/billionaires. That being said the vast majority of millionaires/billionaires aren’t hardworkers but had great networking and connections to make it.

Mentalities like the ones shown here are dangerous. This blatant disregard for hard workers' rightful earnings snowballed into the horrors of Hitler, Stalin and other dictators.

>It's not like they're stopping you
They totally do.
Capitalism is a scam and not a meritocracy.

>Hardworking people who made their fortune by the sweat of their brow
this isn't the 1700s, sweaty

The rich deserve to hang. Distribute their money among the people.

Because it worked so well when China and Russia tried that

>This but unironically. It IS quite the solid argument.

Meritocracy is a bourgeois meme

just wanted to add while I believe in Yang and UBI, an unintended consequence of this will be to stifle new start ups who may want to compete with facebook, google etc. as it stands, most of these tech companies want UBI because it is relatively cheap pacification technique and also it will cement their place in the tech ecosystem because no one else will be able to afford to pay all these taxes. this happened after the financial crisis where the new regulations basically cemented the positions of the current financial heavy weights by making it very difficult for newcomers to enter the industry

>we NEED to tax the rich, the same people that are responsible for all the job creation and innovation in this country. They totally won't move overseas and undermine the local economy because their taxes got raised! The US already has the largest corporate taxes in the world but it's never enough gibs for my lazy ass that refuse to take up the opportunities they've created from their wealth!

This is your brain on pragerU

>YES, we should give rich people tax breaks, they create the wealth
>YES, we should allow them to lobby, it’s their RIGHT.
>YES, we should allow them to smash real competition through predatory pricing, if we don’t then it’s socialism

What a surprise!

It is a bit silly
When my brother turns 18 he would have only spent 3 years of his life in the USA and will still have to send of taxes to the US tax authority

who are you talking about? amazon? hope u know that amazon is probably the least important venture for jeff. AWS is the reason amazon is so powerful. he literally services 40%++ of the entire internet. the figure is probably closer to 90% excluding china.

>YES, we should allow them to smash real competition through predatory pricing
Imagine unironically begging the government to artificially make goods more expensive for you o_0

I'll never understand socialists.

ITT: whiny antifa faggots
go shill socialism and communism on reddit

No reason for non elites to support elites economic interest, they don't care about you.

Purely from a capitalistic standpoint workers should not support the interest of elites.

What's the worst that can happen?

1 they store the wealth and counteract inflation.

2 invest into their company and by proxy make work and lives better for their emploies.

3 they buy new stuff and esentially become lab rats for the various industries.

4 they create death squads in your imaginary world and kill political opposition and control the world.

The state is the landlord in China

Only reason workers tolerate elites is because of low organization intelligence education and propaganda.

people can own land in China. Even in Canada, no one can own land. All land is actually the property of the Queen. Not even joking.

>>You'll tax those poor billionaires more over my dead body!

When i was a poor factory worker without any other source of income, i didn't really care about taxes. But two years ago, when i finally started to make real money on market thanks to god-like thing called "compouned interest", i am kinda pissed off that i must give away 20% of my income to government.

Pic-related: my statement from this month. I already earned 36.000 US dollar in last 8 days, and having in mind that i will have to give away to the state 7.000 dollar out of my hard-speculated money is really painful

>make work and lives better for their employees

o i am laffin

Since Canada uses primarily English-derived common law, the holders of the land actually have land tenure (permission to hold land from the Crown) rather than absolute ownership.[1]

NOOO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT MAN WORKED ALL HIS LIFE TO BUY THOSE 50 20M2 APPARTMENTS HE'S RENTING FOR 800€ A MONTH YOU COMMIE

I'm not one of these "we should eat the rich" people, but even if AWS is by far the biggest money maker for Bezos, it doesn't really justify having workers piss themselves because their every step is tracked at work

Ahhh yes, I too hate working in air conditioned Facebook offices making $150k a year right out of college. Fucking Kikeberg!

More pay, better conditions, better oppurtunities, etc.

If they try to fire you because you asked for a raise just threaten to go work for the competition.

leftyp*l thread

>The US already has the largest corporate taxes in the world
With more holes in it than swizz cheese I'd wager.

this. if people knew how rich these new yuppie engineers are they'd seethe. 250k a year and they aren't even 30 years old.

No it's true, countries with higher tax burdens than the US typically tax income and/or consumption out the ass instead.

>engineers
>250k a year
Why did I have to major in physics

So you value the company more than your own work?
>muh gibs
Getting paid for work is NOT gibs. It's getting money for work. It's an exchange. It's not very fair in US. In fact it's been getting worse even though productivity has gone up, as have profits.

What? I am one of them lol. I work for microsoft and I get paid out the ass and I'm only 22 and I'm on the lower end. Microsoft pays nothing compared to Netflix. Literally 400k/yr cash.

>YES, we should give rich people tax breaks, they create the wealth

Why would that be a meme?

And what in the Emperors hairy ballsack is trickle down economics? Something that leftiepol invented?

BTW, i am close to make my first million on market soon. My initial brokerage deposit was 10.000 zł, now it is 639.551 zł. I will have to give 127.000 zł out of this sum to government so they wouldn't arrest me. It sucks.

>It's not very fair in US
How is it not fair when Americans one some of the highest median purchasing powers in the planet?

kek yeah. Everyone thinks Amazon = wagie cagielets. However, the entry level engineers are cucked. Literally on 24/7 standby lol.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from getting a job in software development. The hardest thing is actually getting past HR, the actual real hiring managers don't really care what your degrees is in.

Good luck polen bro ^^

Nah I actually feel bad for poor people especially since what I make is nothing compared to what truly rich people make.

I should have gone into engineering, not cybersecurity.

Isn't cybersecurity comfy as fuck though?

t. just got started studying computer networks

Post your alias, because you're full of shit.

I would probably be a millionaire much faster because my brokerage account balance in the end of july was around 800.000 zł. But I decided to transfer 300.000 zł of the revenue to my bank account, because i was afraid that i could lose all of it finally, if i opened wrong positions and something bad happened to my mind and emotions. So i started speculation with only 500.000 zł on my brokerage account since 1st august.

Its comfy, but doesnt pay nearly as well. I'm making 70k at 30 years old, and I've been working in the field since I graduated.

I'm not even Croatian. Here for vacation, the beaches are pretty good for where I'm at.

>murican autism

Almost forgot that this is Jow Forums and 90% of people here are insecure and live meaningless lives and project their anger towards the system that is ''holding them down'' instead of geating a hold of themselves and putting in effort towards making it.

>Why would that be a meme?

I don't think you actually read the entirety of that image, but I'll just spell it out for you.

>trickle down meme
>company starts making more money
>starts giving employees better pay, benefits, and working conditions

>reality
>company starts making more money
>company is run by greedy kikes who treat employees like numbers
>pay, benefits, and working conditions still stay the same because Mr. Noseberg's new yacht isn't going to pay for itself

>doesnt pay nearly as well
>I'm making 70k at 30 years old
fucking firsties, holy shit
