Thread for the discussion of Eurasian civilization. It's based on several formations: Slavic countries, Orthodox countries, ex-Socialist countries of Warsaw Pact and ex-USSR, as well as Turks from Rumelia, the Aegean Coast, Assyrians, Lebanese and Grand Duchy of Finland.
Long live Eurasia! Long live multipolar world! Long live /east/ tradition!
Hub for /rus/, /bel/, /ukr/, /balt/, /balk/, /ex-yu/, /v4/, as well as splitoffs such as /ro/, /hell/, /polska/, /kurva anyátok/, /mämmi/ etc etc

Probably why they chose to include so many turkic words also, to sound more like Orks
Aaron Cox
so, i found a few turkish words that we use yet we have old serbian words: sapun - milo (soap) kašika - ložica/lažica (spoon) kapija - dver (gate) odžak - dimnik (chimney) (used in slovenian) kajmak - skorup (a type of cream) there's also old names for months which i cant be fucked to type but one is derikoža (literally means skinning) then there's names for towns/cities which are in turkish: čačak (means mud in turkish) - gradac ćuprija - ravno (nearby monastery is named ravanica) kuršumlija - bele crkve
Aiden Gray
don't think you have to include us in there because. well. we really don't have anything to do with you now do we. so just cut us out and continue with your slavification.
Besides the islands, Athens and Chalkidiki most other places aren't drowning in tourists. I would recommend Volos, very nice tsipouro and next to the city there is Pelion, where you can combine mountain and sea
Don't bully our retarded cousin, besides you're finno-ugric too
Liam Gray
yes, although these words have been used for the last 100-200 years and the old ones are either never used or used only in certain regions i'd be 100% up for changing them, but nobody here gives a shit about our language purism, meanwhile croats do (which i admire although they literally create new words and those new ones sound very very bad usually) if anyone does care about the language, they don't really care much about the turkish words but more about the english words that sound even worse and faggy in our language
Ethan Ward
>orthodoxy is slavic It's not. Christ wasn't a russian, even though you might be taught He was. Same for Apostles.
Bentley Long
>Eastern Slovakia has most of our culture >I call myself a proud Western Slovak Is my whole life a lie? Should I just move to Eastern Slovakia?
Jordan Hall
shit times ma esimest korda siin aga kõik on nagu mega pepuvaludes >history of 11000 years >half of it under slav rule mate... i think you and your history teacher might have to have a discussion about history alri?
Kayden Gomez
Nice, all the higher tier spells seem completely pointless in MP battles since expert haste and expert slow and expert bless are the only ones anyone can use without getting fucked

Sarti prolly, cause of location and comfy beaches nearby.
Being Western Slovak doesn't mean you're not Slovak. So try to make the picture of your region better.
Liam Gray
Well, it's much easier to impose new words when you have a nation of illiterate peasants and mass education just became a thing. Much harder nowadays, especially with the internet. >Christ wasn't a russian He is a Serb.
Wyatt Jenkins
/east/ should remove all turkic words from their languages. They belong in Mongolia not /east/
Aaron Reyes
It's a very comfy thread actually. >Are you Russian? No but it's ok, fren. It's the truth basically. Don't feel bad
Nolan Thompson
Nice have a comfy stay
Ethan Hall
OH GOD SO MANY TOURISTS
Elijah Mitchell
Include just the flags that post. There is no point in including south Ossetia
Joshua Garcia
Which ones? Even DPR or Ossetia have a flag
Brody Jenkins
hello slavs what is the equivalent of thomas/tom/tommy in slavic names? thanks
yes, although it is still used in some parts, and seeing how nationalistic serbs are if we put this knowledge out there and start using it in media it could work changing the town names would 100% work and the only reason we didn't do it is because we can at least pronounce those words (meanwhile all hungarian town names were changed because how the fuck would you say Nándorfehérvár or Nagybecskerek) agreed
Cooper Edwards
Ruthenian. And W*llachian is speaking with a Bulgarian accent.
Fun fact: Alexei Mateevici, a pravoslavnik priest and Romanian nationalist from Bessarabia, militated for the preservation of our Slavic heritage and fought against both the Frenchified language that we have today and the "Tatar speech of the Bucharest journalists" (his words, kek).
