Thread for the discussion of Eurasian civilization. It's based on several formations: Slavic countries, Orthodox countries, ex-Socialist countries of Warsaw Pact and ex-USSR, as well as Turks from Rumelia, the Aegean Coast, Assyrians, Lebanese and Grand Duchy of Finland.
Long live Eurasia! Long live multipolar world! Long live /east/ tradition!

Sadly, opposition to pan-Romanianism is mostly political, not identitarian. And even those that say that they speak the 'Moldovan language' still use the Romanian literary standard. And as I've said, modern Bessarabian subdialect is the same modernized Romanian, but with Russian loanwords from the Soviet era on top.

Anime is off-topic. It belongs in /a/.
Blake Murphy
what a shame i'm not opposed to a strong central unified state but it's a shame when regional cultures are completely lost however you because of that you still managed to achieve a strong unified nation which isn't divided amongst ethnic and identitarian lines, which is what cripples many balkan countries
Tyler Torres
We say čau as well, but it's rather informal Yeah the ciggy is fucking stupid. Like I can somewhat understand the Cyrillic/Latin but when they write the same shit twice and say it's a "different" language then that's just pathetic
Xavier Evans
My point is, it was a bit of a silly remark on his end
Anime is not international culture. Anime is not welcome on Jow Forums. You are not cute.

Kama River. The main river of Perm Krai. Actually there's a saying that not Kama flows into Volga, but Volga flows into Kama. And geographically speaking, this is true because in the meeting point the volume of Kama is bigger. But it's not that simple. In the north of Perm Krai there's another point where Kama meets Vishera River. The principle is the same but this time Kama flows into Vishera. So we may say that Vishera River flows into Caspian Sea. But culturally it's Volga and the main river of Perm is Kama. Remember your culture /east/ bros!
I don't have a problem with loosing regional cultures, what I have a problem with is a national culture that is based on the destruction of both the regional speech and of the former literary standard.
I honestly consider that by raising my sons with a Slavic langauge they'd do more to honor our ancestors than by learning modern Romanian.
The Vlachs in Timok are also a good example of the dangers of modern nationalities. On one hand, the Serb state promotes their assimilation in a passive manner, on the other hand the Romanian state promotes the destruction of their traditional speech (which was common before the 19th century with that of people from Banat and Oltenia) in favor of literary Romanian. One way or the other, their speech will be destroyed just as the speech of the rest of Romaniandom.

Robot with electricity (and isolator?) holds a rose?
Gabriel Collins
Well, not only Vlachs, but also Romanians from other foreign regions (areas further in Ukraine, Romanians from Bulgarian Timok and along the Danube line etc etc) that weren't subject to the language modernization. Based future godfather, kek.

This is not that true. It's polluted only at the locations of mass beaches and ports. There are uninhabited places near Kama where you can swim freely. Also there's a river Chusovaya near Kama, also very nice.

When I was in Bratislava last year I saw this monument and was pissed off like today. You made me recall it.
Leo Evans
Why would you be pissed off at a monument?
John Taylor
At certain places yes. But actually it's Kama/Vishera.
I just like to advise ancient Slav names to everyone lol.
Mine will be Yarilo, Burivoy and Velemudr. If girls they'll be Lebed' and Lastochka.

Because it's Russian. And it's a friendly banter, never mind.
