After Stalin's death the Soviet politics became corrupted which was used by the West again, and the West destroyed Soviet Union. For 10 years Russia was under outer management with oligarchs as mediators. Now based Putin came to being. His historical mission is not only restoring sovereignty once again but to build a strong defence against shameless and despicable West not to be destroyed again. That's why Russia seeks for having allies with common history, values, traditions, political orientation etc. And you as a mere fly couldn't grasp the whole picture, it's quite understandable. But please don't insult people here like an infantile hohol.
You can only be truly nationally sovereign if you have a big population of 20-30+ million, a big economy worthy of G20 status, a reasonable amount of natural resources to support that economy so you don't rely on external trade. If you live in an irrelevent country like ours, or the Baltic states, we have no hope to be a "player" in the world stage, our goal is to "survive". I don't disagree on the idea of the existence of national sovereignty, but it just doesn't apply to ~80%.

There's plenty of workspaces for young people, if anything there's a deficit of young people themselves. Having less workers, the companies compete for the workforce, bringing up wages to retain employees. The only thing I want to implemented is support for children a la Orban. Also, our birth rate started decreasing in 87-89, but the 90s really bought it down.
