I have French ancestry. It might not be the most accurate in terms of what my ancestors followed - just waiting for someone to say something like that - but I generally believe that polytheism and other aspects of European paganism are true.
Also nah, Rodnovery is an ethnic religion and even if I tried to integrate myself into it, Rodnovers won't agree with it. Basically all of my religious practice is private anyhow so it doesn't matter. That's not to say that I am intentionally ignorant on Slavic paganism. I am interested in learning about it.

No, I was always an atheist before. My interest in paganism piqued when I met someone else who was into paganism and learned about it from him. It wasn't direct, however, but gradual and indirect.
