No. If anything, it opened my mind to the reality of Japan.

I am from the US. I knew a lot about Japan before going there at 20 and finally getting to try the food. My views haven't changed because I already understand how it is and didn't have any expectations to be disappointed. And the food was even more amazing than I imagined. You guys I literally never had sushi, ebi fry, curry rice, oyakodon, yakisoba, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, etc none of it until I went there.

99% of Japanese posts on Jow Forums are made by the same Takeshi who has koreans living rent-free in his head. It's not a good idea to judge a whole nation based on some yayoi incel posting on Jow Forums.

The guys on the Japanese threads are usually friendly and helpful, but they hardly every leave those threads.
