Vietnam, as well as Korea, could have been won if the US congress actually cared to. The generals in charge were repeatedly denied crucial resources and most, if not all of the privates were hick conscripts with minimal to no training.

I agree with you in Afghanistan. I personally believe they haven't left because it's the only thing keeping the US arms industry afloat with its huge and expensive arms contracts. The US could definetely win in a few weeks because Afghanis, like Iraqis, like the Taliban, like all shitskins really- have such a firm belief in the clan/tribe system that it prevents teamwork and cooperation beyond close family and at best the village.
