Norway is probably the best country in Europe in general.

switzerland looks better

>muh big valleys muh big fjords LOOK AT THE BIG MOUNTAINS

Big is not good, even though Americans think this way.

Scottish Highlands are way more aesthetic and humble in size, yet much more spiritually satisfying places to roam.

>t. never seen large impressive mountains
they're very nice to look at, also mountains in yurop are small for american standards

fake saturation

Attached: ok.jpg (2000x1200, 684K)

still looks nice, just cloudy

It looks even better like that desu

They are not. Same way the "BBC" was/is too large, too bestial by the ancient Greek beauty standards and aesthetic understanding

Best is mediocre status mountains that appear bigger than they are from low level eleveation. Scottish highlands has perfect altitude in terms of mid range elevation and still appearing high and mighty on some places, but still inviting for traveller to roam

That looks de-saturated. The mountains looks unnaturally gray.

Have you considered the option which states that it's a matter of taste ?

The grass doesn't look radioactive anymore though

Italy has

Yes please go there nothing to see here.

It is a matter of facts. Those Norway mountains may look nice on a postcard or desktop wallpaper, but they are practically unconquerable, hostile peaks of which you cannot even climb properly without proper mountaineering equipment

Pic related is scottish highlands by the lochs, you can even climb the little mountain in reasonable time without any equipment if you are careful and enjoy the view, not possible in Norway and Switzerland

Okay so you really are comparing penis size viewed by the greeks and the size of mountains prefered by people. I'm pretty sure greeks were actually in awe when they travelled through alpin valleys, and weren't thinking of penis size.

>Scottish Highlands are way more aesthetic and humble in size, yet much more spiritually satisfying places to roam.
They're bare as shit. At least Norway has trees. So does Finland, I think you have nicer nature than anywhere in the UK

Finland is 70% of the forest, there are no elevation. It is extremely boring landscape, when you have seen one forest you have seen them all. There is no change of scenery, all the forests practically look the same here.

this sounds like mountainlet cope

>I suffer in Finland

i hiked this "mountain" a few weeks ago

Attached: wallula gap trail 2.jpg (2048x1536, 583K)

I understand you. Nonetheless there are a lot of mountains in the alps and norway on which you can walk on, and even in Scotland you will find peaks that cannot be climbed without alpinism equipment. But you're right, a walk on a mountain is another experience of just contemplating them

Attached: Vosges.jpg (1200x630, 100K)

im pissed i didnt get to see that, i mostly stayed in zurich which is just lame hills and overpriced as hell. next time im going to explore bern and the french/italian part of swissland

Lmao of course they look nice with photoshopped pictures. Nature is much more grey in reality, not even with heavy psychedelics you get that Skyrim bloom effect

Peak aesthetics is Scottish highlands in a foggy weather with grey rocks and vegetation like heather, gorse, and bracken. Nordic landscapes do not even come close

If you go to Russia visit the Ural mountains it is like arriving into Mordor, absolutely hostile terrain with horrible, foul vegetation etc.

appalachian mountains are easy to hike if youre fit without any equipment, even the highest peaks. everyone goes hiking in their free time in new hampshire.

wtf are mountains?

Attached: 1549185460004.jpg (940x1420, 193K)

shut up you finnish homo

FUCK mountainiggers where my flatbros at?

Attached: nullarbor.jpg (960x1280, 165K)

>not even with heavy psychedelics you get that Skyrim bloom effect
i disagree. The forest i went trough when i walked to and back from school even had godrays

Looks like bear central to be honest. Beautiful still

>not even with heavy psychedelics you get that Skyrim bloom effect
Peak autism

Attached: 300px-European_plain.png (300x244, 115K)

wtf very few peaks that require climbing here. the might look like that from the coast or down in a valley but from the other side people hike up them.

Appalachia and the north-east in America has God-tier nature, especially in Autumn. It and Japan are the best I think. I'd visit myself if getting mauled to death by a mountain lion wasn't guaranteed

counter to popular belief, Sweden is a mountainlet country.

Attached: 6.jpg (722x484, 141K)

Ok this is peak comfy

NOOOOOOOOO MY KEBNEKAISE

Theres some black bears apparently but ive never seen one in all my years of hiking, there are a lot of wild boars that people like to hunt for tasty bacon, also some moose and a shitton of deer. Also coyotes in the fall but people like hunting them.

Incest happens in those types of villages though

I agree Switzerland looks good, you have the high mountains and most places are inhabitated. But there are more natural and serene places in Norway, where you can walk alone or with your friends and not meet anyone.

Attached: sjobodar1.jpg (900x660, 181K)

what you posted is fake saturation and fake white balance

most definitely

Only if you like fjords, other than that it's pretty dull. Spain in actual fact has the most biodiversity of every country in Europe.

what a load of bs. the alps are the most accessible mountains in the whole world, i climbed a mountain higher than what you posted on a daytrip from munich.

Nothing looks that drab in real life unless you're colorblind.

That looks like an average mountain range in Norway, what are you on about?

Attached: 0d5a400dbfcf3c30ae7600ec431bd105.jpg (1920x1080, 345K)

Fuck off, Irish cunt.

Attached: F5B6B4BF-E98A-4926-9FAB-DFECE780CF88.jpg (1290x1080, 190K)

Stop lying. More people die every year on the alps than Switzerland lost in ww1&ww2

Lol you stupid nigger inbred. Could have just took the train for 30 minutes to get south from Zurich

Wägital or whatever

One slip and you are dead skull cracked

Finland, why do you love us so much?

Attached: 374F3268-885E-4C34-B8DC-A55CF97D97BD.jpg (2560x1600, 1.05M)

trees are a non-issue when the phoenix lights up the sky

Attached: c2e6odkwia221.png (1198x1496, 2.16M)

retard Switzerland has mountains that you can take a gondola all the way up

imagine the smell

what's there to lie about? more people visit the alps than scotland has inhabitants times 1 trillion.

pic related is the view from a mountain higher than what you posted and wasnt a problem with fucking sport sneakers

Attached: DSC_0411.jpg (1920x1080, 1.13M)

Lol i loved the gondolas, i was complaining that they need to install them in the Appalachians

I can find similar scenes in Ireland but who cares? It's not pretty

The best part of Norway is winter though. Going on ski in the bristle white nature and stopping on some small cabin for a break, drinking cocoa and waffles.

Norway looks better. But maybe it's just that I'm used to our landscape

i think you are. norway isn't bad at all and probably just behind you, but switzerland wins imo. if norway was like new zealand and had as much variety it would win

People are overlooking the MED countries.

Attached: METEORA-1.jpg (800x533, 163K)

You have nicer places in general and live besides very tall mountains. Green grass and nice bavarian style houses.

youtube.com/watch?v=Q5xncXSO-hc (2.30 and out is how i picture switzerland)

Terrainwise, Spain is irrefutably the most diverse. They have just about everything. They can go from looking like Britain/France/Germany and all Northern Regions, to the very Southern tips of Europe. They have four biogeographical regions Mediterranean, Atlantic, Alpine, Macaronesian which no other country in Europe has. Basically, a smaller scaled North America. They go from being California to Montana. Would mistake pic related for UK.

did you know that finlands highest point is half way up a norwegian mountain?

It sucks living in a naturelet country...

Scary

No, we do unironically.

Attached: SMS-20120416-199-A3.jpg (1000x667, 703K)

is this the best landscape in northern France?

most people don't tho, they live in the flatter area of Switzerland.

Also Switzerland is fucking tiny, how anyone can say it beats Norway in terms of natural beauty is just beyond me.

Attached: ch_stadt-dorf.png (1000x707, 518K)

Did you know that Finland has the most lakes and second most islands on the world?

Attached: e0c6ca4e99f2f686f6c77a1eaf2e2c2c.jpg (2218x2646, 723K)

yeah traveling through the islands with a canoe must be fun as hell

island bros

Attached: island.jpg (741x681, 108K)

did you know that in like 2 years you are gonna give the whole mountain to finland?
what a cvck honestly

We have beaches in Norway tho. It's not all mountains

Attached: jaeren borestranden 01.jpg (709x518, 57K)

Never gonna happen

We also have flat Fredrikstad, so not every city in Norway has mountains
