A diploma won't help you as much as you think. That's (unfortunetely) a fool's errand in Brazil right now. Use your student's status to get into the job market as fast as possible in a related area to your studies.
Higher education does help, but it's not enough for a good job. Experience and networking are way more important. It's actually great that this girl is getting into you. You can access her social circle now, and that's important for your future.
