Any professional key hoarders here? Haven't found anything yet. Is it really that unlikely? Seems to me you must find something at some point right?

You have to look for addresses generated by key words
brainwalletx.github.io
keep looking and make some XMR for the host
>actually trying to brute force private keys
yes, please keep trying
Those guys have been generating over 3000 trillions of keys.
So good look looking through it by hand lmao
There is no miner there
Completely luck based. You could go your fucking life without finding anything. You could just fire up one of those shitty scripts and find something within an hour.
Playing the lottery costs more, but it's much more probable.
Imagine finding one of Satoshi's wallets, placing a huge ass 100x short, and watching the shitstorm that would ensue once you moved BTC out of it.
but imagine the consequences for the rest of fucking history and the world, bitcoin would be fucked for good
I don't know what I would do, honestly.
I was thinking of this yesterday: If I found one address with a good amount, how much would I even take, or how much would I want someone to take from me. How easy it is to trace, and what would someone do to me if I grabbed a 1% bite.
If a single of satoshi's coin moves expect 1b in automated 100x market orders to move the market to sub 100$ before any of the coins hit the exchange. That will be a cataclysmic event. You will still be a billionaire but you just crushed the market. Bitcoin price will be dead for the next 5-10 years. Everyone who bought after 2014 will be in the red.
The chance is 1 out of 2^160.
The chance to win the lottery is ~2^24 so its like winning the lottery 4 times in a row.
You could still do a lot of good for the world with those billions.
I'd take 10% if it was a large amount (rich person with over $1m can afford a 100k hit) and somehow let them know what happened without giving away myself
Guy cant even transfer his coins to a different wallet in peace
Anything can happen...what are the odds of our universe even existing ya know?

It's next to impossible, but you're constantly participating in this one lottery that is 4 times more difficult to win. You could basically be running that shit everytime you use your computer. Considering costs it seems worth trying more than lottery.
I am afraid there's plenty of people who -would- do such a thing.
>somehow let them know what happened without giving away myself
That they can afford a 100k hit doesn't mean they won't just notice, so I think that's not exactly an issue.
The problem is like you said, without giving yourself away. Would they be like "let's find out who this motherfucker is" or "thank god a small amount was taken, now I'll be more careful with this shit"? Who knows.
VPN + Shapeshift to Monero = not gonna find out who this motherfucker is
I mean its mathematics/cryptography, if you hit a large wallet and transfer it out nobody can sue you for generating a private key through math. I'd like to see them take you to court, sue them right back their own coins and clear them out of their remaining net worth. I wouldn't even bother with XMR or a VPN, I'd have it transferred in my own name.
I just found 2 btc after trying for like 5 minutes
post a pic
after you drain the wallet
I make 10k a month on this. You fags don't have the patience. You need to be looking through a page in a few seconds max 12+ hours a day.
Third world autismo so it's the best option for me.
I'd pump req back to 1$
So theoretically speaking if I find a wallet and drain it, is that stealing? Because it is effectively something I found.
You make 10k a month on this by hand while people generating over 3000 trillion keys through CPU's haven't even found 10k in 2 years? gtfo with your larp.
If you would ever find something, it will get automatic drained. People already tested it last thread by putting their own eth on an adress, which then immidiently got moved.
Can you elaborate some more please
This is true legally but you could be dealing with a psychopath willing to physically harm you.
It's not, but how'd you feel if your funds were taken away despite having gone through great measures to keep your private key safe and did everything the right way?
This is why I'm glad the possibility is so low it wont happen with current computers.
It is a waste of time.
I legitimately found two addresses last night that had transactions. They were small amounts, but happened within the last 6 months. Fuck the odds!
What do you mean?
You did find the actual privative key to two BTC address?
you left the best part out - "manually"
I mean I found the private key to two addresses that are empty now, but have been used in the past. Here is one > blockchain.com
