are you not runing out of numbers? we had the same format (3 numbers and three letters) and had to change it because of the lack of available combinations

gang gang

There's only 7m people living here.

This, Alberta used to have 3:3 letters:numbers, and now we have 3:4.

Irremarkable if you ask

How many fucking cars do you need? We're 3 millions more than you and 3 letters 3 numbers works fine.

3:3 should be enough for 17 mln vehicles, you should probably upgrade at some point
why don't you use one system for the whole country?

>imagine not having your countrys flag on your license plate

Someone post a Dutch license plate. They’re unique

Irish license plates are the most readable of any I seen. Dont know why others dont do it like this

>year of car
>county where bought
>serial number

you can get it without a flag as of lately and the number on the right corresponds to a region of registry
other than the region number, it's pretty shit

Having licences for every provinces and states makes it easier and increases the numbers of possible plates exponentialy without having absurdly long plates codes.

Every person owns like 3 cars.

the 3:4 plates alberta uses are already enough for the whole canada

But regional identity! Most Canadians would probably be angry about changing their license plates into a national design because we are too proud of not being our nearly identical neighboring province.

It's relatively easy to identify the type of vehicle based on the color (e.g. brown is public transportation, red on white is government-owned, while white on red is privately owned).

It's kind of sad that these are being phased out for the same generic embossed plates that India uses

Is there any significance to using an EU flag vs the country flag?

norgay isn't in the EU sweetie

We're just in the EEA, not the EU, but that's about it.

we have this unique system where the plate uses letters equivalent in Latin and Cyrillic (A, O, M, K, E) and 9 numbers in a 7 alphanumerical row
other than that it's boring
oh yeah and no town/region indicator so Muslim don't trash Serbian cars when someone from Trebinje comes to Mostar
