DJT is a Japanese language 勉強スレ for 人々 interested in the language, anime, manga, visual novels, light novels and Japanese video games. Japanese speakers learning English are welcome, too.
Short Japanese level ranking as a reference for newcomers: 1. Pantsuya 2. The helpful American 3. The artistic Japanese 4. Singaporean Friend 5. Any other Japanese flag
If you like my taste, then it means you have based taste too So anime with English subs feels like a waste, because you could practice Japanese. And anime with Japanese subs feels like a waste too, because you have to stop to read them. That sounds like a quandary! What's this? Ranking how helpful certain regular posters are?
Oh sorry. Revised list: 1. Pantsuya 2. The helpful American 3. The artistic Japanese 4. Tsun Pole 5. Zombie /Dumbbell Poster 6. Singaporean Friend 7. Any other Japanese flag

That's even worse

>That sounds like a quandary! It is :( For now all I do is read Manga, though one day I'll have to make the jump I guess.

>What's this? Ranking how helpful certain regular posters are? Their Japanese ability (but yeah it's a shitpost)
What study material have you gone through already? I'm curious how much work you have put into it than me, and how much better you are because of that. Ohh, I see. You can put me at the bottom because I'm still very new to Japanese.
>Ohh, I see. You can put me at the bottom because I'm still very new to Japanese. I don't want to be rude, but in a real list you might still rank above our Singaporean Friend >What study material have you gone through already? All of DoJG and about 250 chapters of Imabi. I can really recommend both, they are very good: imabi.net/tableofcontents.htm core6000.neocities.org/dojg/ >how much work you have put into it my results don't match my time put in, I am at the bottom too :>
>DoJG It looks like an anki deck that teaches grammar. And very elaborate. I might do it in the future, but it looks a bit complicated at the moment. And wow, Imabi has many chapters.
I have done RTK1 and now I do the Genki books, along with an anki deck someone made. I also compare new things I learn to the Tae Kim guide. Many call Genki bad, but I like it because everything has accompanying audio and the speakers and stories have a very positive vibe. I also like doing the exercises. RTK is often called a meme too, but now that I learned it, I find it very easy to pick up new words and recognize them in sentences. Can you post a few DJT OP images? I just came up with a meme and want to contribute.

I'm about to go get fired by dabbing in front of my Boss's Boss who just got off a flight from Japan to Seattle Washington. Any suggestions what I should say to him when I dab to help fuck my shit up further?

>It looks like an anki deck that teaches grammar. There's an anki deck for it, but if you use it I'd recommend you change so it shows you only the grammatical concept (and not the example sentence in full), and the back like this. >do the Genki books, along with an anki deck someone made. I also compare new things I learn to the Tae Kim guide. Ah I really recommend checking out Imabi then. At first I tried out those two, but I found imabi to be more thorough. >Can you post a few DJT OP images? I just came up with a meme and want to contribute. There was a download of them somewhere in the OP links, but I cannot find it atm
(here's the link for the DoJG deck: dojgdeck.neocities.org/ ) >because everything has accompanying audio There Core2/6K deck has voiced audio for all it's words, which also come with voiced example sentences, you might want to check it out too (though it kinda sucks :> ) Oh and before I forget, you might also want to get the Yomichan extension for FF / Chrome
You can't read because you're wasting time on useless resources that don't teach you anything. The background should be a Jow Forums blue or transparent. Watch how a pro does it.
Do you know the particle は ? If you know that, Konnichi means 'today' and は is the particle that makes it the topic. So konnichiwa is actually more of a phrase than a word.

KONNICHIWA こんにちは KONBANWA こんばんは

imabi.net/essentialphrases.htm >“Hello” is associated with the phrase kon’nichi wa こんにちは (alternatively written as 今日は). In face-to-face encounters, it is used primarily in the afternoon. This is why it is closer to the English expression “good afternoon.” However, when the time of day is not relevant or ascertainable, especially in situations online, it is used just like “hello.” The reason why the particle wa は is used is because at one time, Japanese people used to greet each other by first making a comment about the day’s weather. Though this still happens, this phrase can still stand alone regardless whether a complete sentence is made of it.
It indicates the main topic of a sentence, right? Thanks

you should have been to Tokyo earlier because the Comic Market which a large number of people participate in to buy and sell doujinshi had been held at Tokyo Big Sight over the course of 4 days from August 9th to 12th.
leaving that aside, there are a lot of shops selling doujinshi in Tokyo such as とらのあな, メロンブックス, まんだらけ, あきばお〜, アニメイト and so forth.
I'd love to go to Comiket, but standing for four hours in the sun to get in sounds a bit dcary.
Kayden Roberts
I got no clue about them, except that one guy telling people to watch English subbed Anime >over the course of 4 days from August 9th to 12th. From what I've heard most R-18 stuff usually got sold on the last day (Sunday). How is it now that Comiket lasts 4 days, is it now on Monday?
>standing for four hours in the sun to get in sounds a bit dcary. yeah, I don't want to wait in a queue for admittance for a long time in direct sunlight in the middle of summer either.
>most R-18 stuff usually got sold on the last day (Sunday) yeah, it's true.
>How is it now that Comiket lasts 4 days, is it now on Monday? my apologies, I have no information about it.
There are various programs that bruteforce trips. The speed depends a lot on how fast your computer is. I thought so. If you ever find a good secure trip, it will be extremely rare!
I have an unpleasant feeling about this. Gorringe was a fattard and Goebbels a cringy ugly fuck. It isn't right to portrait them cute. They should have made a vn about Wehrmacht generalfeldmarschall, now there were smart lads

Being a massive fan of anime girls clad in NSDAP uniforms myself, I have to say that I am very much interested in the prospect of getting inside Himmler's panties. But having previously played their shitty tank dating sim, I am not that optimistic about it. I'm more than sure that it's gonna be an uninteresting slog of a bishoujoge that'll crush my wehraboo and otaku boner under heaps of faggoty memes and bad art.
Question from an Anki user, I know that in order to stay on top of things, I need to use Anki daily, however in 3 weeks or so, my job is having me work 2 15 hour shifts a week so there will be no time on those particular days to do Anki, how do I cope with this since the other 5 days are really open in terms of how many hours I dedicate to using Anki for Japanese?
東京ビッグサイトで開催されるコミケ以外のオタク関連イベントはあるかということ? Do you want to know whether or not there are otaku events or conventions that are held at Tokyo Big Sight other than Comiket?
