Generally longer time int he US leads to more wealth accumulation. First gen Irish, German and Italian migrants were mostly poorfags when they first got here in the 1800s too. Now their decedents have money. Hispanic families that have been in the US longer tend to be higher income than their migrant family members, and most of the migrants that come from Latin America are the poorest least educated members of their society who were leaving specifically for that reason.
