Anywhere but the Mediterranean then. In Madrid there are many tourists, but they are mainly chinese/japanese and not britoid. The north is nice as well, and Castile is pretty empty, both in terms of pupolation and tourism (except for Madrid and Toledo). Just don't go to the islands, Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia and Eastern Andalucia and you'll be fine.
