if you're going to be shying away from writing in arabic script in favor of latin you might as well learn proper "arabizi"
that way, people will understand you better.

I'm still fairly new to it, just learning from a book, but I'm glad I can at least sort of make basic sentences off the top of my head.
I know the Arabic script, but I'm not super comfortable with it yet and my book only teaches it in latin script, so I was planning on mastering reading/writing with the script once I got a grasp on speaking it.
But yeah I've noticed a lot of Arab speakers I know use Arabizi in text messages, so using the numbers is something I want to get good at. any recommendations on learning arabizi?

also, most people will write in arabic script online rather than arabizi nowadays.
