Scones are some of the tastiest things on earth, you don't really eat them as a dessert but I think they're our best sweet thing

Krydderkake, literally just meaning "spice cake". It's a simple cake in appearance and preparation, but due to the spices it has, the taste is the opposite. It'll typically have spices like allspice, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Frosting or nuts is optional, and personally I prefer it with walnuts and no frosting.

I'm not fat

Reckon that would be tasty with a nice bit of custard

I've had proper scones once and I will never forget. Sweet and delicious without any hint of feeling "heavy". Truly a marvel.

Apple Pie is English you cunt

Apple Pie in England predates the founding of the New World, brainlet. In Canada, it has to be the Butter Tart.

I doubt it's English. The dish is so basic it probably predates the eternal Anglo himself.

Wow, my babushka bakes me same things.

Why not mämmi?

Canada, Nanaimo bar

Our country is fucking huge and has a lot of different sweets but this one is pretty representative of my state.
It's just a sweet potato with condensed milk baked in lumber. The oven is portable and has wheels and you're warned of the cart coming to your block by the sound of a train whistle.

Tarte Tatin, an apple pie but I like this version better for what we use to hold the pieces together. If cooked right, the apple pieces texture should be similar to the biscuit underneath.

Apple pie already existed in 12th century in France according to recipes. French medieval pie had many spices tho

Clafoutis aux ceises, it's like a flan but with cherries.
