Do you like the modern architecture in your country?
Do you like the modern architecture in your country?
Modern suburban architecture can be alright but modern commieblocks fucking suck
no
Yes. I think simplistic shapes and architecture is aesthetic as fuck.
Nah, thank God the Spanish architecture remains in some towns.
is that lobster?
Looks like that thing rattlesnakes have
i like the look of it actually but i dont understand what it is. it looks like a halo map
I think a lot of the new architecture going up in the bigger cities looks decent, much better than the cheap plastic-stuff of the 00s
Is that even still considered modern?
Brutalism is peak architecture
No it's shit
It sucks big penis, but shitty urban design is generally far worse than even the shittiest architecture
This:
Idiotic and wrong
it's a anti-american safe zone, just walk up the stairs
Modern architecture is the best kind
I want to live in the future and round up all of you Luddites and cover you in pitch
>ugh, fucking MIGRANT wood
modern architecture is dumb and simplistic
The person who made this picture will kill himself as a virgin before he hits 30
>me build traditional house out of wood beam and straw roof
>modern architecture SIMPLISTIC
The minimalism is the point you retard
minimalism is retarded, especially when it still looks like a cluttered mess like your picture
traditional architecture is mathematically more complex yet still balanced, this applies to all traditional architectures made by all historical peoples everywhere who managed to build something grander than a fucking igloo, as well as by all plant and animal and geological life, composing environments proven to be mentally invigorating for all humans
tldr: your shit is dumb
YES
YES
YES
YES
When done correctly its much better than shitty traditional shit
>having rails on stairs
>minimalist
kek. you have no idea
This
No, I prefer Frank Lloyd Wright to stuff they build here. Where does the brutalism meme come from? Instagram?
Didn’t read a word of this virgin shit your faggot traditionalism is dying off lmao
it's not traditionalism, it's simply nature
comon that looks like utter shit
To each his own
You're right, sorry. This one is better
Embrace the future of brutalism
Everything they build here is ugly and make me want to kms. Traditional stuff we had was better
Not all futuristic things are better, but I still prefer it
Hate living in the past
too big
>new gooder
>MUH OLLDDD SHIIITTT
>ITS GOOD BECAUSE ITS OOLDDDD
It's a matter of taste. In a futuristic context it can be cool, but if you build giant ugly modern shit in the middle of the Alps it makes no sense. You can feel like we live in the past but its not true. We simply never changed too much
it's good because it has fractal level of detail and harmonious proportions, plus rich materials and a sense of self-worth
I don't even want old styles again, I just want the fundamental principles (which were independently discovered by all human civilizations)to be applied
imo even building stuff in the old style wouldn't be so strange. Europe has Christian, Roman and Greek origins there's nothing wrong in celebrating that. Even the Romans build stuff in the style of the Greeks. Italy built this 100 years ago and some even later during the fascist period.
I like modernized classical design. But I hate the square looking, nothing but glass homes people build. They look awful. Minimalism is not for me.
I prefer the intimidating, castle inspired old estates and mansions from especially Scotland where my mom is from.
These days they don't cost more than a modernistic house either.
yeah, but I want to see new things, and we have vastly superior engineering capabilities than in those days, so it would be much better to invent new styles
