you forgot wadi rum, amman has many historical sites too. and jerash too, we also have so much medieval castles and forts.

is it way of life expensive there? I looked up some travel guides and it didn't seem that costly to me. 1 jordan dinar is like 1.25 euros I think tho

No, it's normal i guess, not too expensive while also not really that cheap, many whites come here for vacation, amman is also full of euro students, and yes the JOD is a pretty strong currency, worth more than USD.

Wadi Rum is based, Aqaba is cool and Petra is nice but not as nice as it's marketed as. Amman is pretty boring though. Overall it's a nice modern country with friendly people
