Hard question to answer because you could argue very long who did more good than bad to humanity in general, I think that Pharma is the most scummiest business after things like bail bonds and other businesses that take money from poor people. But the problem with Pharma is that it still employs a lot of people (legally) and does a lot of Research and Development which is not only crucial for curing diseases but also expensive as fuck and a long process while drug kingpins maybe build a football stadium or a mural in the slum that they were raised in but in the end it would be just another ego stroke.
Answer yourself who was worse Martin Shkreli for jewing other Pharma companies, investment bankers and insurance companies or El Chapo for beheading civilians and using women and children as drug mules

In the Cocaine Cowboys documentary one of the American guys who worked with Escobar said their operation was totally unsophisticated and not business like at all. Said they were just a bunch of thugs who got lucky. In Killing Pablo his salient quality seemed to be willingness to use violence, not business sense.
