historically it was homogenous, around 90% of european descent, yes they all had different ancestry but they assimilated into the anglo-saxon majority
take a look at modern day China and how the government forces an umbrella term of Han Chinese with their minorities, China has studied how ethnic and cultural conflict can tear a country apart

This map is dishonest. In the 1940 map, white hispancis are just counted as white while theyre not in the 2010 map. Southern Texas and large parts of California has always been highly hispanic, but it's mostly white hispanic, ie descendants of spanish settlers from before they were part of America.

They should have probably all just been forceably rounded up and repatriated to Sub-Saharan Africa immediately following the civil war and the ones left behind should have either been liquidated or sterillised and then segregated off onto renevations until they all die out.

In the '50 or so America was still fascinating. Now that they exported their "culture" worldwide it seems boring. America used to be the land of freedom etc now they're seen more like an evil empire. Also 9/11 made them look weak and the aftermath made them look evil. It's difficult to say when precisely but their image is declining
