How can Norway be Teslas third biggest market after the US and China?

How can Norway be Teslas third biggest market after the US and China?

Because they're subsidized to the point that they're priced like gasoline cars. Premium ICE-cars are way too expensive for most Norwegians

A lot of people with a lot of money who also worry about the environment.

this, very simple

I’d like to get a Tesla when I make it but I heard that the older models are breaking apart so it leads me to believe despite the materials and labour of a car being expensive the build quality is still shit and it won’t last more than 10 years without heavy repairs.

>Premium ICE-cars are way too expensive for most Norwegians

True, big HP ICE cars are like 5x the price here than in Germany

A 500 hp ICE car is extremely expensive (more taxes the higher the HP)
A 500 hp electric car is WAY cheaper

The build quality is pretty shit. Dad has owned a model S and it's been in the shop far too many times. Heating system, several fuses and even the trunk motor(!) had to be changed within 50k km. The software is buggy as shit as well.

I guess it’s true then. I’m sure in the near future the build quality of electric only cars will improve but first comers are getting rekted hard with Tesla.

Agile development :3

Daddy Elon is D I S R U P T I N G the industry

Because you are soys

I think it's a bit of an exaggeration. There are 50K Teslas in Norway and if it was this bad I think I would have heard about it in the news.

A lot of people are short selling Tesla motors because of this though. There’s yet to be a catalyst event like a total recall of thousands of units but when it happens Tesla is fucked.

And not just some random story about some random guy having problems

I've seen several articles about the extreme waiting times at Norwegian Service centers

>paying to beta test a shitty Tesla when you could wait for a real manufacturer to tale a crack at it
saw one next to a last gen A5 and it looked like a mismatched chink toy.

Yes, but that's because the Tesla workshops have been too small (and they do all the repairs for all Teslas). They are improving that though.

>who also worry about the environment.
Yeah this coming from a country that is the wealthiest (per capita) natural gas, oil and fish exporter in the entire world is at least a little hypocritical.

Fixed the file size for you

Is it more hypocritical to use the oil money to subsidize electric cars than to buy giant gas-guzzling cars like gulf emirates do?

>not buying a N/A car

They like green washing their oil money with tax deductions from cuckmobiles.

>not buying a turbodiesel

>also worry about the environment.

It's all natural change. It will get warmer even if humanity goes extinct.

>t. increasingly worried oilfag
should've created and oil fund like norway

how do you think electricity is made?

Attached: 1364162279354.jpg (236x285, 6K)

A variety of ways. I would guess norway is on majority hydro.

in any case the same people who own oil wells also dabble in other energy extraction industries.
If you cared for the environment you'd drive a used volvo. EVs aren't as sustainable nor as reliable in the long term.

ok electricsoyfag
you know , you must creating nuclear power for batteries, theremore making more pollutions and what we do when batteries are dead ?

at least make hybrids like the p1,918 and laferrari

98% hydro
Norway has 50% of Europes hydro capacity

the car industry must make cars like the p1 or the 918
they are less polluting than a toyota prius
and the sound and driving pleasure is still there

Ah, actually it's 94% hydro and 4% wind

We are in agreement. Rich people buying the cars drive innovation and make them viable though.

i thought you guys were supposed to be smart

So, you believe it's human pollution causing the rising temperatures? kek
Ok, maybe humans are causing 1% of the climate change, the other 99% is all natural unavoidable change.

>Buying a car

Attached: soyyyyyyyy.jpg (110x125, 3K)

if not humans, then who?

The wind part will grow in the future as they build these 200 meter+ monsters all over

Whales

It's the natural cycles of planet Earth. It's supposed to get warmer now. A few hundred years ago we had the 'little ice age'. Before that we had the 'medieval warm period'. Long before that we had the 'ice age' (which will come again in the future).

50 million years ago it was 10C hotter.

>50 million years ago it was 10C hotter.

Can you imagine all the cars and factories they must have had back then?

you know what. if you've denied anthropogenic climate change this far into your life, a random guy on the internet isn't gonna change your mind so i won't wast my time

have a good day

>not buying a car

Attached: images.png (560x548, 18K)

I used to believe that BS, then I got wiser.
They have done measurements of shrinking Norwegian glacier arms since about 1700 (before the industrial revolution). They have been shrinking at the same pace during all that time.

CO2 retains heat » stays in the atmosphere » greenhouse effect warms up the earth
stop being retarded, inform yourself and stop getting your opinions on science from alt right paranoid media

Attached: 15_co2_left_040518.gif (700x453, 21K)

IT'S NATURALLY GRADUALLY BECOMING WARMER, AND THERE IS NOT FUCK ALL WE CAN DO ABOUT IT

>stays in the atmosphere
But it doesn't

Propaganda graph (last spike completely made up)
but see how it aligns with the natural change

It will start to get colder soon though.
So then it will be like in the 70s again when "scientists" were talking about how to warm up the cooling earth (ideas included painting the ice black)

What do you not understand about the graph
I can keep throwing graphs at you for the rest of the night and they'll all consistently look the same

Attached: co2_10000_years.gif (500x334, 8K)

30% of all electric cars in Norway are Nissan Leaf actually

>I can keep throwing graphs at you for the rest of the night

Doesn't matter when they are all from propaganda sources. I can make a graph too.

Don't bother. Conspiracies are more fun and make me feel like I have forbidden knowledge.

So now go take a siesta. It might be a long one as it is indeed getting warmer (but natural)

Funnily enough wales are preventing climate change eating squid, then shitting out shit that feeds algae which absorbs carbon. Read it up on the wiki, it really is humans who are fucking up the planet.

a fucking leaf

Do you decide what's propaganda and what's not?

Oh shit, that's enough reason to invade the faroese

Brazil should invade Japan. You've done a great job controlling the hunger for whale blood with your naturalised Nips
