Yes, the second part of the 90s and early 00s were a gold miner.
without saving much money, Dad was able to pay for 3 kids, buy a terrain (big one) and build a house with a little bit more than minimum wage. had a bastard daughter and had to pay, still in good conditions without degree

Yes

They've had more time to earn money.

*crack* *sip* Yup they sure don't give good job interviews like they use to.

All you millennials are broke because you waste your money on frivolous shit. You’re inacpable of saving properly. I bet all you fags waste money on porn, drugs and streaming services

Nigga come down. I try to save money as much as I can. Do you know how many mornings my breakfast had to be avocado toast?

If only we stopped spending on frivolous shit we can buy city apartments for €70k or 4 bedroom houses for €120k again right

Dumb boomer. At the same stage of life. Boomers already ammased far more wealth than millenials. At 27, my dad had a house two cars and 3 kids easily. I cant afford that at all

Truly an american post.

My dad's parents dropped school at 13-16 and started working, jumping from job to job on a whim, while buying land because loans where fucking easy to get. Now they are not rich per se, but have huge plots of land and they rent houses and shit.

My mom's mom was working shit job and living with her mom until she married my mom's dad, a firefighter. Which comes with advantages such as free water, free electricity, free housing and a good pay. Both dropped school at 14. They could put a shitton of money on the side while at the same time traveling abroad in expensive hotels and stuff like that. (They had three children and NEVER EVER bringed one of them in their travels by the way) They bought a house for dirt cheap when retirement came.

Now, not even talking about my generation but my parents'.
Dad could jump from job to job but did retarded shit and spent all of his money on alcohol and gambling.
Mom went into a prestigious embroidery school (with her own hard-earned money, her parents never helped) and got a pretty good job (worked for Dior, Yves-Saint-Laurent and such) but got fucked over by sandniggers whom were okay doing the job for a mesure of rice a day. Worse quality but who cares, those clothes are going to be worn once anyway.
My parents divorced and both live a very shitty life. (Arguably deserved for my dad)

You're doing something wrong in your life. Maybe get off 4channel?

And now you have me. I did my best in school, never was helped financiary to pay for university (which is """free""" in France but oh, do they forget to tell you about all of the other fees) and now I can never find a real job because I don't have 10 years of experience, can't put money on the side besides never having any extra (no bought vidya, laptop is a 8 years old piece of crap given by a friend, no fancy food, no restaurant and so on). I have to take on dangerous and badly paid jobs to barely survive. Which is, when I can find them because there's a lot of us in a dire situation needing to survive and taking shit jobs, so be fucking happy if you even have an answer (even if negative) to your application.
I guess I'm just a lazy shit.

This. I was in the process of getting a family and a home but opted for a craft beer instead

To have the same lifestyle my dad did at same age, id have to be making 120k plus. Getting off Jow Forums wont give me 120k

Part and parcel of being a young adult in the new millenia

Why did almost all the boomer tier posts come from Americans?

I guess I'm still somewhat "lucky" because I always refused to take a student loan.

Have you thing of taking loans? Not everything is handed down to you. That's the problem with that generation. They never take risks like we did.

Sure, don't pay your taxes kids, it all goes to boomer pensions.

American on Jow Forums claim to make 100k+ doing real jobs without some liberal arts degree

Yes.
But, but not in my family.

Too big, burgerboomers will not read
