Seems pretty normal to me. It's always been a shithole.

South America is a shitshow of extraordinary proportions.

>mfw Lula gets freed and saves Brazil

>B-B-BUT THE CRIME RATES WENT DOWN

youtube.com/watch?v=_kLOBjTgHYU

look what the smoke from the amazon jungle did to são paulo

we elected satan himself

That's probably bullshit anyways. The decline is so insanely dramatic and the gun reforms were so minor that it has to be either a coincidence or just fake numbers.

Same as always.
And people still think that electing a politician will change something lmao
Politics is the ultimate bait to enslave everyone.

>niggermutt getting successfully executed and fake drama over seasonal fires that always happened
Seems like we're doing something right if that's what people have to come up with.

>same as always
I don't think so

Do you think they are burning forests because they want to?

brazil is doomed, just like mexico
south america and mexico have small pea pea brains, thats why crime rates are so high and no advancements. just dumb people all around

Yes it is, fires didn't increase significantly this year and you are falling for sensationalism, also the smog in SP was caused by a combination of Paraguay's own fires and heavy winds from the south.

Article on SP's "dark afternoon".

gonna be honest senpai never seen the sky turn orange and the sun red out of nowhere
my eyes don't lie to me

Any fire turns the sky orange, it means nothing other than that you were fairly close to a fire.
Fires are also very seasonal and always had huge spikes in August and September, you will keep seeing these trendy alarmist articles until it tapers off in October as usual.

FAIRLY CLOSE? i'm on the other side of the country

they elected bolsonaro thus enabling the trigger happy thugs that make life miserable for brazilians

monkey soup

Fires can happen anywhere so you are either confused about what you saw or you didn't realize there was a fire near you, I never experienced a large scale forest fire but some fags used to burn some vacant land near my house and it was always pretty scary even though it was relatively minor.

You can't reason with these idiots. The province with the most anti ecological idiots in our country is also the province where this has become a daily occurrence every summer because of pollution and forest/refinery fires. This photo was taken at 2PM by the way.

2018 was the biggest drop in crime in 11 years and 2019 is being the biggest drop in history, what happened is that we just got rid of the politicians that enabled crime to begin with and it's Mexico that elected a president following on PT's failed footsteps.

The environment is a myth don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise

then why do i keep hearing about gun violence?

2019 got you covered senpai

shut up we got MALO which is 10x times worse

>there was a fire near you,
that's like saying "you experienced a forest fire in the middle of new york"

I'm really glad I don't live in Brazil.

>then why do i keep hearing about gun violence?
Because a "drop" doesn't mean it actually ended or that the media will report less on crime, that's an idiotic argument.

>2019 got you covered senpai
It sure does, crime dropped dramatically so far.

Any smog is orange with fire or not, it's just how light is reflected off it, so if a fire is not plausible where you live you are simply confused about it like I said.

i've never seen this, i've lived here all my life, it cannot be "just a coincidence" that it happened 2 days after the forest fires started getting worse

So you didn't see heavy smog before, if you're from SP then read for the actual causes.
