Scottish isn’t a language

isn't scottish gaelic different from yours?
there's maybe 8 people here that still speak it

>there's maybe 8 people here that still speak it
So about half the Irish Gaeilge speakers in Ireland, lmao.

It's a shame too, their languages sound really good.
The orthography can go kill itself though.

It’s basically a dialect of Irish but its called scots gaelic not scottish

Welsh sounds like drunken rambling, to be honest.

are you high it sounds like ear rape

they have their own alphabet which i imagine would make more sense with the language, but basically no one uses it

There's also a Scottish Germanic language, which is almost a dialect of English and is spoken in the low lands.

Scots is a GERMANIC language

Turks and Azeris have barely any Turkic DNA and they speak Turkish or Azeri, only Northern France has French/Frankish blood but basically all of France speaks French, the English are mostly Celtic but they speak a Germanic tongue, only 70+ year old obāsan speak Okinawan, Sardinians are the ethnic group with most Neolithic Farmer ancestry but all Sardinians speak a Yamnaya language, etc.

this shit is more common than what you think

saying that Scots is a dialect of English is as retarded as saying that French is a dialect of Spanish

Scots Gaylic lmao

I'm a lowland BVLL and my ancestors are responsible for the extermination of Gaels.

Come back to us pls
t.Northumberland

You mean a dialect of Gaelic since Gaelic is native to the Rhine and not Ireland.

...

I can speak Scots.

Sorry, no can do. I am a Scots BVLL so you wouldn't understand me.

Not exactly, I heard it was as different as Castilian from Aragon but that was from 500 years ago so it might not be true now as those languages might be to similar now.
This is true.
