Why aren't you buying a Dacia Sandero?

cheap and good car

bumporino

Because it's not

DAILY REMINDER that Dacia is the SECOND FASTEST growing car manufacturer after competitor Tesla

The Sandero was the focus of a running gag on the British television programme Top Gear. In Series 11 and Series 12, after Dacia sent the show a press kit, presenter James May would often exclaim "Good News!" and explain a fact about the Sandero during the show's news segment, to which Jeremy Clarkson would reply "Great!" before abruptly changing the subject.

The gag was also featured in The Big Book of Top Gear, with a page proclaiming "Good News! The Dacia Sandero is in this book!" In later episodes, the presenters switched sides of the gag, with Clarkson bringing up news about the car and May shrugging it off. In the first episode of Series 13, when May said he had "Good News", Clarkson immediately asked "Is it the Dacia Sandero?", to which a seemingly bewildered May replied, "No..." The car was not mentioned for the remainder of the series.

In Series 14, during a visit to Romania, Clarkson bought May a used Sandero as a gift. After returning from a test drive, May parked the car behind an idling truck, and exited. As May praised the car to his co-presenters, the lorry reversed into the Sandero, damaging the passenger side.

My uncle has this beauty, 900cc and works like a charme. Dacia might be the best thing Romania has done to Europe along with flooding streets with street workers.

it's a Renault in my cunt

I don't want to get constantly stopped by the cops because they think I'm Romanian

My brother has one and he Uber's it.
It's a pretty solid car desu and i RS version it's pretty noice.

Why Renault cars are called Dacia in Europe?

Butthurt belt wont buy our cars

same, mostly old farts drive these riding to their dacha's

It's shit, that's why. The only half decent Dacia is Logan MCV, cheapest model, because it's big and you can put a lot of beer in the trunk.
For the same money I'd rather buy an old SAAB, make it work and save the rest for spare parts and some engine upgrades.

ask me how I know you're a transylvanian soiboi

Would you have a Dacia?
The only reason I'd get one is due to national pride, but time is too short to drive boring, underpowered cars.
Here's a good Romanian car, might as well get one instead of Sandero.

Because I only drive Japanese cars.

Because it's a Renault here. Nobody wants A French car
And Kia Rio XLine is much better for similar price

dacias fucking suck at safety. sandero stepway caught my eye though

>Aro
if Aro would be still made and if they had modern tech I'd buy one in an instant

At least our cars aren't overrated, unlike German cars. German cars are very expensive for their average, even mediocre quality for Volkswagen, but marketing makes miracles. Swedish cars are the most underrated.

Why do you want modern tech? It would ruin the whole car. If they were to make it, it should keep it simple, maybe a different turbocharged engine to have enough power.
Kinda like Lada Niva, but more powerful: simple, strong car for the simple, working man.

because getting sore arms from turning the wheel and being a smelly redneck due to no AC is not exactly what I am looking for tbH

Getting stronk arms and smelling like a Carpați smoking redneck is what the car is all about.
Grow some balls.

>marketing makes miracles
Eh they're just coasting off a 40 year long history of succes. There's actual marketing brands like Lexus and Infiniti and they have far less prestige.
In 20 years people will look different at German cars than they do today because between 60s and 2000s literally nothing could touch them

I'd rather have a dacia supernova

Based, the only Dacia fully developed by Romanians.

I own a 2012 Duster.
It's a pretty good car, for the amount of money I paid for it I would get a 2005 rav4 which is fucking ridiculous.

It has an LPG installation from the factory, it's really fucking barebones, the only option mine has is the AC (manual lmao) and basic cruise control and I work on it by myself.

if it was still an independent romanian brand I'd buy one but I don't want to give any money to some new french at r*nault
